World Mechanics in Action Heavy Series

This is a video where I use 4 series, FMA, Soul Eater, My Hero Academia, and HunterxHunter, to break down why world mechanics are so important for action driven anime. Most anime with action are basic, as their fight mechanics are the same thing we have seen done a hundred times before. These 4 series have unique mechanics in them and how they execute them in and out of battle lets them flourish in interesting ways. Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku Anime Review

Avatar the Last Airbender

Rewatched and made a bitching review for Avatar. I'm so ahead in videos I have the next 5 done so don't expect another post for a couple weeks more or less cause I'm re-watching FMA Brotherhood and that'll spawn at least two videos. Avatar's review is really well done I think. Great character breakdown with a well detailed review overall so I think everyone will love it. The way it stands each week for the next 5 will flip between an analysis and review. So good balance for the next month. 

The House of Small Cubes

Made a video discussing  The House of Small Cubes, a short film from 2008 and I think it's a pretty fun one. Short and to the point but I quite like it. Watch the short if you haven't already, it's on Netflix and it's an emotional roller coaster.

Death Note Analysis

I've finished a deep dive analysis video on Death Note, and how it tackled the morality of Light. I easily think this is my best video I've made. Whether others agree with that statement or not, is yet to be seen. But with how good this video turned out I have to make it the next release. So the schedule I posted before I will update with the new dates for everything. I think everyone will enjoy this 12 minute deep dive for Death Note.

Wotakoi Reivew

Have a Wotakoi review fully completed and I really like how this turned out. The script is incredibly well done and it might be one of my best reviews I've made. Quite excited to release it so it might come out before the Space Battleship review but we shall see. 

How Hinamatsuri Went Above Expectations

If you remember the video I did on Interviews With Monster Girls this analysis is similar to that. Which actually that video is my second highest viewed video with like 60,000 views. The likelihood of the Hinamatsuri video doing just as well is slim, however, the quality is just as good if not better than that video. This will be the next review that will pop up after the Megalo Box analysis and Vampire discussion piece. It's a quicker review but I think it manages to get my points across well enough for this short anime. 

Season Roundup - Spring 2018 Anime

Megalo Box

I scripted the vampire video I mentioned last post, but I also scripted a breakdown piece on why Megalo Box works so damn well. So the Megalo Box video will actually be up after season roundup followed by the vampire genre video. Both of which I think turned out great in terms of the script. But Megalo Box should be the better of the two in my opinion at least. 

Vampire Video

So a couple months back I re-watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Loving it as much as I do, it made me really focus on how few anime and most products in modern day handle vampires. So the video up after Season Roundup will be a video breaking down what makes a series like Buffy work and why all these anime fail at utilising vampires correctly. As vampires are awesome, but no series really uses them well. Also scripted videos are coming back to once a week on Tuesdays. Get hyped.

Season Roundup Spring 2018

Have this all recorded and the audio is fully edited. I'm pretty ahead on this one but I will say this season had a lot of solid anime so I think everyone will enjoy this episode. Spring was a comedy focused season but all the comedies I watched felt unique from one another with enough well-written series to make this season both fun, but also managed to have a good number of strong scripted series. So look forward to that after the Aggretsuko video. 

Aggretsuko Video

Doing a sort of review/discussion video on the new netlfix anime Aggretsuko. 10 episode series that follows a bunch of cute animals in the bullshit world we call every day life. I really like how the script came out. Has a blend of review and analysis, but also some interesting views on how it marketed Sanrio characters. So that will be coming out after the Kyousougiga review this Friday.

Made a new and improved review on one of my all time favourite anime. Very proud with how this turned out. 

Kyousou Giga (TV) Re-Review

One of my first reviews was on a series in my top 10 and I think the video no longer holds up so re-review time for Kyousou Giga. A phenomenal Toei anime series and yeah I'm stocked to review this again as now I think my script writing can actually make a review worthy for a series such as it. 

Liking "Bad" Anime

Thought I already made this posts, whoops. But the next video that has already been scripted is about the concept of liking bad anime and basically I use the anime Guilty Crown to show why just because many consider it bad, doesn't mean I have to and I give my reasons on why I enjoy it. And it's basically breaking down just why many might dislike something, not everyone has to agree they have bad taste and whatnot.

Next Discussion Video

So I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do a video on next and the idea that came to mind is a discussion piece of that feeling you get with certain anime that just fully let you relax and escape from the craziness of reality. When I was in college Non Non Biyori was this for me and it was a weird feeling to just escape from stress once a week and watch such an innocent and almost pointless show. So that will be the next topic. Hopefully I can make it fun.

Steins;Gate review will be the next video to be released. Really excited for this one as I really went all out for the script and I'm hoping it'll be my best review yet which I'm pretty sure it will be. Can't wait to show it to the public! Know a lot of people have been wanting more series reviews so what better way than to deep dive one of my all time favourites.
