Verrrry very inspired by BMTH’s most recent single, Kool-aid. Hearing it live was an awesome experience too. I’ve had this piece in mind since the single came out, so I wanted to actually take the time to sketch it out tonight. I like it so far and I’d like to take it further, hopefully finishing it at some point. OFC, using my sona Avalanche for this one. On theme.

Sanji scribbles ive done while watching one piece. I did the second one last night n I loosely referenced a screenshot of him, where as the first one I did tonight with no reference, just playing around with colours and trying to figure my style out more. ✏️ Greyhound WIP

Greyhound came on shuffle while I was doing some work on the January base, and I got a surge of inspiration to finally redraw this piece I drew 11 years ago. I’ve wanted to redraw this for the last 3 or 4 years? Maybe longer,  and I figured I should finally do it. Greyhound is one of my fav songs of all time and I remember being insanely proud of the original when I drew it back in 2013, so it’ll be fun to see my improvement! I’m already having a lot of fun with this.

🏔️ Avalanche

self indulgent piece I finished up a few days back of one of my sonas, Avalanche!! Drew this in honour of me going to my 5th bmth show which was on Friday just passed, I had the best time. Activity will be back to regular speed from Monday! Just over an hour until midnight here for me, so I figured I’d post my little personal new years drawing now. 2023 was a mixed bag for me, but overall I can say I’m really proud of myself. I was fighting demons not completely rendering this BUT I wanted to try my hand at simple like. Lining and cell shading to see if I can get a style i like for simpler human art. This is a redraw of a scene from season2 episode 2 of jujutsu kaisen, I just added my own little. ⚖️ Higuruma Hiromi SPEEDPAINT

Aaand speedpaint for my Higuruma piece! Same as the LG one, I did the initial sketch on a seprate canvas, saved it, then imported it back on a new canvas where I did the render on top. I never intended to do anything more with this sketch when I first did it, and I found this one to be slightly more tricky than my LG piece, but I had a lot of fun with it regardless N it’s fun to watch the speedpaint back to see how much I fiddle with proportions and such. ⏳ Lu Guang SPEEDPAINT

I don’t rly upload speedpaints anymore because I hate editing them, but a couple people in the discord were curious abt my speedpaint for this piece + the Higuruma piece I just posted, so I figured “why not” and threw together a speed paint super quick. for this & the Higuruma piece I did the initial drawing on one canvas, and then saved the image and uploaded it onto a new canvas where I did the render on top. :3

Back again w more rendering / human practise :D after the thing I drew of Lu Guang yesterday I thought it would be fun to try and render the sketch I did of Higuruma from JJK in the same kinda style.
