Witch Mechanics Preview

Magical Girl is only half of the magic themed .6 update. The other half is the Witch. This class is about using your time delayed spell effects to create combos, turning small effects like Hex of Lust above, which adds two hearts this turn, and two hearts at the beginning of next turn, into big gains.

Next updates

 Work on .6 is coming alone nicely. The Witch mechanic preview should be up pretty soon, followed by the test build. After .6 is done, I have a few options as to what to work on.

TF Card Battle Release Scheduale

For the past updates of TF Card Battle, I've been doing a full version updates (i.e. .2 -> .3) for 2 transformations plus usually 1+ other big features. However, there's no reason that has to be the case. I could just release updates as features are ready to go. Magical Girl Mechanics Preview

Being a Magical Girl is about being an ordinary student by day and fighting the forces of darkness by night.

The main mechanic behind the transformation is corruption. Each turn, corruption grows based on how high your TF is. If you get above 10 corruption, you lose the battle against darkness and you and the world become corrupt.

TF Card Battle .55

Surprise! Did you think a new game was all you were getting this month?

This update has two major changes. The first is that before the boss, you can choose one of three boons. How effective these are is based on how fast you beat your regular opponent. The second big change is that TF now does twice as much damage against bosses. So decks that are built around TF now have a much better fighting chance.

New website!

With the upcoming releases of Submansion, I decided it's time to make a more centralized location for information about my games. Nothing will change here on Patreon. Previews, news, etc. will still all be here. For you Patrons, the best thing about the website will be the ability to play the games online. Now you won't have to download the game to your computer if you don't want to, you can just play it in your browser through the website. This feature should be up soon.

New Hardware Acquired

Thanks to all of you for your support. With the money you've given me, I've bought a Surface Tablet so I can keep working on these projects while away from home. My job (the one that I use to buy food and shelter and such) requires me to be away from home often, so this will allow me to keep the updates coming even when I'm gone for 2+ weeks.

As far as TF Card Battle
6 goes, the planned transformations are Magicalgirl and Goth. For other features, on the docket are more bosses (3 or so possibilities per round), specific body modifications for tramsformations, and unlockable cards. If there's some feature you think should be implemented first, let me know.

I haven't been able to work on the game very much because I've been dealing with a family medical emergency. However, I've been doing what writing I can and most of the player thoughts and endings are done. I also made most of the needed reneders before I had to leave.

Animalgirl Renders

So the Animalgirl renders are done. Normally for a transformation, there are five unique renders showing player progression. For Animalgirl however, there's 45. Nine full sequences to represent each primary and secondary animal pairing. Of course, these renders are variations upon each other, but it was still a lot more work than normal. Animalgirl Test Build Balance Patch

This update fixes some bugs and re-balances the Animalgirl transformation.

As always, this isn't a balanced or extensively bug tested version and so forth.  This transformation is more complected than others, so your feedback regarding balance is appreciated.

TF Card Battle Progression Mechanics

A long term goal for TF Card Battle is to have you unlock transformations, body modifiers, enemies, bosses, etc.,+ as you finish story mode runs. Another component of this is progressive difficulty where beating storymode will unlock ways to make the game more difficult. At the moment the game is in alpha and such user oriented things (including tutorials) aren't a priority. But I do want to get the progressive difficulty into the game.
