When I requested your feedback last month, I had no idea how large of an appetite there was from people in the tabletop community for assets diverging from the classic "Medieval Fantasy" architecture and settings, and I've had a great time browsing and populating my imagination with a variety of interesting Eastern, Middle-Eastern, Saharan, Jungle, and other locales that have a rich variety of architecture, terrain, and weather, and as a result, I've come up with a few things this month that ...

The small hold might appear cold and unwelcoming to most, but it has everything a stout and straightforward dawi could ask for. A mead hall with kegs of ale, warm beds, a hotspring-fed bathroom, and a runic forge where the bearded folk craft their famous arms and armors, fit for any of the robust folk to carry out into the world.

I reviewed the long list of excellent suggestions you've all posted earlier this month, and one of the things I noticed was a call for more variety, particularly maps and assets that aren't based on the classic "Medieval Europe" theme that is so well canvassed by myself and other map artists. I've always enjoyed them, and didn't realize there was such an appetite, so I'll be adding more maps and asset packs like this to the rotation.
In any case, I hope you enjoy the Eastern Shrine PNG ...

Part of the ongoing and expansive encounter map of Against the Grain from Vermintide 2. I decided not to spam everyone with two months of nothing but ruined farmland, so I'll be posting new installments periodically. Once finished, it should connect a series of maps that work well as standalone maps into one giant piece. I hope you enjoy it!
Once again, this file is too...

Whether the humble residence of the local pellar, or a weekend shelter for a nobleman's pleasant weekend, this comfortable little cottage provides a pleasantly shaded spot to catch and cook your supper away from the hustle and bustle of town. Of course being this far from town has as many disadvantages as advantages, and living deep in the woods also means a lack of protection from man or monster. What will you use it for?

The extra large second map in the Against the Grain series, the mill and farmhouse, with a stable to boot. These rolling hills of grain look ready for harvest, but the mill lies deserted and disheveled, as uninvited guests have ravaged the countryside without mercy. One thing these invaders didn't count on, however, was a band of grizzled adventurers, who mean to demonstrate the difference between a farmer and a fighter when it comes to crossing swords.

I've been a longtime admirer of the game Vermintide, and some of the maps provide a very interesting take on a "dungeon" that's a little more varied, so I wanted to try my hand at putting together a variety of maps that connect, but also work well enough as a standalone resource. So, this is my first installment of a rundown farming village eagerly awaiting a band of heroes to purge their town of invaders... or just a really sloppy farmer's wheat field. The choice is yours.
