Armarillo-kun's basically the only person who makes me draw chuunis. It was a fun challenge trying to make her cute and threatening at the same time (though for sure more cute than threatening :p). I made all the stickers too!

Her color scheme was interesting to work with. Grey skin (it's actually fur, but represented more on the skin spectrum side of things) with grey hair, with striking pink purplish eyes and ears. I think the result is neat. :3

I thought it'd be neat if she was dusting off a big ornate vase inside a classic Japanese home. I think it turned out decently. :>

You'd think I'd know what maid costumes look like inside and out by now, but there's so many variations that I still get confused. I guess that's what happens when you spend most of the time drawing swimsuits.

Lingerie girl (hi-res)

She's finally out! Gosh, this girl was in the cooker for record time. She was almost finished so many times but something always felt like it wasn't quite right so I kept shelving her. A year or so later, I think I've finally ironed out all the kinks. =v=

The idea with this piece was I just wanted a simple plump girl in lingerie, and I wanted to do some beauty marks. Not proportional at all with the work it ended up taking but it was a learning experience. :p

With this piece I wanted to challenge myself to do something that I don't do very often: to make the face the focus of the piece well above the erogenous zones. I didn't necessarily set out to do that from the start - I actually wanted us to see her tush some more - but the logistics of the idea didn't work out for that. Totally not a setting I'm used to do, as you guys know, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! That new technique I've been using for more refined textured painting is seen all over this piece. On the floor tiles, the seat, the grass, the water stuff. It's letting me do more advanced things than I've done before which is exciting. :3

Way back when, when it was Summer and things were good, Yoko ate lots of ice cream. Or are these popsicles, since there's no creamy part? Anyways, you guys asked for a Yoko, and there you go.

Doing some new lighting experiments here, trying to do large areas of cast shadow and then making the shaded areas more detailed than normal. I'm happy with this experimentation so far. Areas like the belly and the top of the chest came out pretty cool, I think. I'm gonna keep exploring ...
