Another January WIP

While I'm getting the lineart all taken care of, here's a more refined look at the sketch from before :U

Also, I've gotten a couple suggestions so far for the next pic, so if you haven't already made a suggestion, please comment it on the previous post and I'll add it the poll that I'll probably start tomorrow evening^^

January WIP

I'm actually still having trouble deciding a few things on this (like am I gonna go with the armored venomized Rocket look or something more organic) but this is the general idea I'm going with for this image. Symbiotes making expert use of those tongues to try and one up eachother :P

Also, I didn't realize we were already at the end of the month so soon, so lets go ahead and get in suggestions for next month's pic! Go ahead and comment on this post so I can collect any suggestions for ...

Symbiote Ratchet mock-up

Note, this isn't the wip of the actual image, I was just playing around between other art and wanted to flesh out a look.

Similar to the symbiote look I had for my comic (that I still need to finish Dx) but with improvements. There's still areas I wanna tweak, bulk up some spots and pull back on others.

Oh, I don't think I ever actually said it, even with the comic post on twitter, but the symbiotes name was Rust (at least that what I was going with assuming it wasn't already take...

Sketch requests reminder

Holidays have been busy, but I'm in the midst of finishing up sketch requests I had already received.

However, I've still got several people on the sketch tier (or pay into the $1 tier with a $9+ amount) who haven't sent me their requests for last month or this month (I also have a few who I don't think I've ever gotten a request from).

Aaaaaaaand here's the November art!

Late as all hell (which I guess is fitting in this case), but I finally got it to look... somewhat how I imagined it in my head :\

I went kinda vague/scratchy for the demonic presence. I guess Bill Cypher might have been a bit of the idea I had in my head, but I didn't really pull references to try and stay accurate to that xD

Also there's a version with a little dialogue and one without.

Completed December Lineart

So I basically add a little kinky jingle bell harness. Also not entirely sure if I wanna add the Switch logo or make some little knock-off design :U

December Pic Lineart WIP

Just a little look at the clean-up on Ratchet and a bit of Rocket's... less-than-modest half? :P

I may just drop the finished version of this and the November pic at the same time so they are in one spot.

Also, unless there is an objection on here to it, I think I'm gonna put the finished lineart for this image up on twitter on Christmas day, just since it's probably the only xmas-themed art I'll have done xD

Another WIP, now with more WIP

Not exactly sure how much I improved the proportions, but I like this better and I colorized them to make it easier to read xD

There are a few little things that are missing here and there. May add some other festive article of clothing to Rocket too, who knows :P

December Rough Sketch

The finished pic for last month should be up later today (assuming I can get the background to match how I'm picturing it in my head), but here's the very rough idea I'm goin with for December.

Proportions are kinda wonky right now, but I just wanted to show something that would get the general idea across. Rocket is a mess right now xD

Also Ratchet is most def not playing a Sony handheld, because I'm the kind of person t hat finds that funny :X

Quick update for the November Pic and more

Sorry for the wait on this first look. Not to use it as an excuse, but Baba dying just killed my drive to really do anything artistic, which including really putting any final touches on this.

Basically went the demon route for how they ended up in this mess.

This image will be ready shortly. I just gotta add some shading details and other effects to really bring home the idea that Snugglemagne may have set loose forces his sassy ass wouldv'e best left alone :P

December suggestions and a small extra thought

Lol, I nearly forgot to post this. I’ll have my progress in the Mao Mao art up tomorrow, but go ahead and start making suggestions of what you want to see for December’s pic.

Also, for those who have been paying attention to my twitter, I’ve had a little sketch comic with a new lombax oc and Alister Azimutg. I’ve decided that when I do start inking it, I’m going to upload those pages here first and then put them on twitter a little while afterward.

I've run into a bit of trouble coming up with a look for the ghost/demon part, but I'll have something for you guys to look at in a bit. I just realized I hadn't updated this in a bit so I didn't want to keep you guys wondering when I was gonna show anything Dx

I mighta goofed part of the last poll xD

So clearly there’s gonna be a ghost/demon situation this month, but the votes were tied on who would be dealing with it.

it also occurs to me that I may have set the poll to only allow one vote per person (possibly after I remembered to add the end date a little while after it started, if it wasn’t already defaulted to it)

So let‘s do a quick tie-breaker and see who reigns supreme. I have it set to one vote per person and it will close at midnight tonight (cst) :U

Some future plans :U

The more I look at it, the more I want to redo/update that Ratchet daki. I just feel like I take those poses, but put a better design to Ratchet himself.

Also, I absolutely know I want to do an Alister one next (head-canon oversized dong for sure). I may look into what the other standard print sizes are for dakis and make his even larger to keep a sense of scale. I don't plan to have that daki take the spot of a monthly suggestion this time. It'll just pop up when I make it :3

Regarding this month’s suggestions!

Today will still be the last day for suggestions for this month’s suggestion period, but it occurs to that I basically put the part about giving the suggestion at the end of the post with the September pic.

So, just as a reminder, in about 6 hrs I’m gonna start a poll with all suggestions provided (Unless I only have one suggestion) and if you've got an idea go ahead and comment it here if you haven’t already!

September Pic + suggestions for November!

Admittedly I did go back and do a slight bit of adjustments to better match Rocket's fur pattern from the daki.

sorry for the wait on this, but now I'm gonna focus on getting the sketches I owe knocked out and then start on the new months!

Daki printing requirements issue

It's come to my attention that some sites may require 150dpi maximum for the print file. I was doing them as 300dpi, so I'm uploading a smaller version of the Rocket daki (front/back) to cover that if it comes up for anyone who might want to print it.

Give it about... 5 minutes and the new files should be up. They'll have "150dpi" at the end of the file names.

Rocket Daki Final

The design is all set and the file should be sitting in the folder for anyone wanting to grab it^^

The file is 150cm x 50cm (as far as I know this includes the bleed, but it wouldn't be hard to add an extra few cm to the size), but I'm I don't have a place in mind of where best to print atm.

But like the Ratchet one, if you do decide to print your own, I'd love to see how yours comes out :3

The other image for September will follow shortly!

Daki is almost ready!

This'll be the last little update before the final image is ready (and the print-ready version is available to download)

Just gotta add a little something to the bottom to make use of the empty space under Rocket :U

Rocket Daki scale comparison

In my head, Rocket is definitely the shorter character, so here's a little comparison between him and the Ratchet Daki.

Now I kinda hate that there's all this empty space below him (or above him, I haven't decided his final placement) BUT, I have a fun idea of how to use that space depending on which side you're looking at (back side will be slightly spicier) >:3

Another little update :3

The background for the design will be basically the same red bedsheet style.

Also I'm not sure how consistent I'll be in this in the future, but I thought a bite mark on Rocket's ass would be very... Rocket xD

And here's a bit of lineart for the back view :U

There's still some things I need to adjust (that left hand is a bit too small for how being closer to the viewer) but everything is on track to be ready by Halloween.

Also, I still haven't heard from everyone I about what they want for their sketches. I am still finishing sketches from last month as well, but those will be knocked out soon too and I'll jump into the current month immediately after.

I figured I'd just post something when the lineart was ready, but why not show the basic idea I'm going with.

With the Ratchet daki in mind, I may flip this and see how it looks next to Ratchet, in case they ever get put next to each other IRL >:3

There might be a few little lineart details I still want to add to the fur, but this is the basic fur pattern and look I think I wanna go with for Rocket (moving forward with other art as well)
