At my new work they got a Wacom Intuos, so at lunch I tried the thing a bit a week ago. All done in Illustrator, playing around with the inking options, no reference & quickly performed.
I liked the experience, but I really can't do without the feeling of the paper, the handling of a pencil, the dirty fingers. Yeah, I like it dirty! XD

Throw back thursday from early '17. I don't draw often big boys, although I had such characters in my comicstrip "BAD BEARRY", but I like them, gotta get back to them in the future.
Oddly I find them harder to draw than lean muscled guys.

So much hair, it killed me XD Actually it did brought back memories from LUST chapter 1 when the 2 characters were banging, I remember tricky poses featuring lots of hair too. Here you add the colors and it allows to always identify the characters.
I guess I'm gonna have a step by step and a smooth variation for that one, hehe!

The inking shows how naked the drawing actually is before all the coloring + color shading, hehe! Even the sketch on this seems a bit off to me, comparing to my usual artwork with graphite and full graphite rendering.
Anyway I remember having the dots patterns as a last minute idea, it was fun to mix it, suits the drawing.

You actually see at the drawing stage the shitty paper I used. It's a "layout" paper that's good for inking in order for the ink to not cross over the sheet. The paper here is flawed, but still usable, at least to try out some stuff like here. My inking has evolved since then, it's funny to see that, how I progressed in a short time, when the technic just strikes you!

This is an old inking test I drawn back in april, totally forgot about it. If I had to ink that today it would be different, it's good to learn quick to improve your craft.
Still, I'm testing here another way to perform the coloring, a bit faster and it seems to work out for me, so cool!

Still on the quest for a somewhat perfect inking, I practice a bit more. Luckily I'm enjoying myself doing so, as I've learned so much for the last years, my art has improved enough to infuse it in this specific rendering.
On the last bunch of 3 butts, I've been told the 1st one was better with the little lines creating a tiny volume or shading. Oddly I didn't like it much, so I'm gonna try it out with this drawing, meaning what you see here is just a step.
