I know this is pretty hardcore, but to me, this panel is all in the eye contact: the warden has such intense look, I can't get enough of it!
You can see I had a bit of hard time with the perspective: our hero head needed to be moved, it's not an easy pose, I could have played safe getting rid of it, cropping at the abs, but as I was obsessed with the eye contact, I wanted to have both heads in the frame.

This big illustration shows some steps here, focusing on the ink. But, and yes it is a BIG one, you can see few seconds of an attempt shading near the end, when I finally decided to go for a special colored background. I did add the texts & other stuff on Photoshop.

Already working on the lines, but I wanted to share this detailed sketch as a work in progress on the hero. The Winter Soldier is cool to draw, I almost went for the big red star on the shoulder, but finally kept the latest design & haircut for this Marvel character, as seen in the tv-series.

The special interest here is the speed lines & effects: how I draw ink them first & give instructions to the colorist to use them. Often I leave him expresses himself over my art as he's a true artist!
I also worked hard on the close-ups on the hands, it's even more visible here.

This main panel from page 17 was a defining moment for our hero: he was interacting with the man, like acknowledging the bond. Plus, and it's a BIG PLUS: I showed his armpit! :-P
You see 2 previous stages: the sketch and then the lines with no hair at all. As often with the LUST comic series, the background comes really at the end.

How BIG do you want your pin-up? I know this answer: YES! XD I was pretty surprised this model got all the votes, he's not that famous, but it's a cool training to draw such man. This is all digital graphite, a sketchy touch with all the shadowing.
It was a change to draw so many veins on a body, and believe me I forgot plenty when you see the pictures of the guy!

An oldie from 3 years ago: all traditional on sketch + inking as it shows, plus the shinny digital coloring. I experimented non smooth colors there, somewhat I like it but it's not for everybody's taste as I remember well!
