A very well wrapped cross-hatching test back in the days, perfect for a throw back thursday! I also got all the way around with some black solid background. I got rid of the original white texture I also added as it's anoying visually, there are so many line art going on with the foreground.
Also simple line art + second thicker one, still working hard on the technic. Plus a lil study on the veins.

A quick study to celebrate this Humpday where I mixed my usual digital color shadows with the blending of another layer of the graphite lines.
It kinda works, I guess where this can go, it needs some practice, hehe!
The original sketch is such a rough thang, I wanted this to be one hour, it needed 15 minutes more when I started to try the blending, haha!

I show you an interesting process I got: I performed a first line art, and then a second thicker to be sure of my lines. It's been a while I gain confidence & stopped the double layer of line art, it's funny to see this now, ha!
I like how I drawn beauty spots too, I forget much too often to draw some: it adds realness to the characters.
