The process as an animated gif, with colors this time. Fortunately it's not too heavy, when exporting it again with Photoshop, phew!
The lines only seems like a line art step, but it's simply the heavy graphite tool giving black lines when really pressed against the glass.

One of the Xmas commissions & I'm soOo happy with the result! I finally indentified & selected the right tools in order to get the rendering I wanted with the digital graphite on Procreate.
I added the physical paper I used back in my traditional ways days, that I scanned. And how it is slightly colored, I can play with pure white to get discreet lights & glass effect.

Looking at the original sketch again, I wonder if he doesn't seem less pissed off. So much happened between the final mix & the very beginning (which is the storyboard, before this final sketch), I'm always a bit concerned to lose the original intention, vibe, along the way.

Buck lost a suspender & he kinda... lost it. The sexy variations of this panel from page 4 shows how built is the character, whereas starting to be really sensitive.
I enjoy the one suspender thing with him. It was not really planned at first & it adds an informal dynamic to the situation depicted.
