Playing around with my new coloured pencils box! It takes some practice to improve, starting with the sunny bear you saw previously. It's really cool to use and it seems to please a lot of people. Including me :-D

You can see I overworked the man tool, it was the point for this illustration, I should have done the same for the whole body, like drawing much hair I guess. But I'm happy with this one, hehe!

This was a quick graphite portrait of the actress as seen in the movie "Equals". I'm on winter holidays, so not so many posts lately. It's not even the scan version, don't have it yet, hehe!

You can see I struggled with the legs this time hehe! This kind of beard & hair rendering is new, inspired by the greek sculptures. Really fun to draw, although I wanted to make a little statement here.

You want the truth? Wanna see me spill the T?! Alright! Yesterday evening I was so not into getting back to draw my current 'Bad Bearry" comicstrip I took the bottom of a sheet, my graphite pencils and started to sketch Colossus from the X-Men!

I didn't use any reference, so it's a free version here, I often wondered how I´d render the metallic body of his 😄

Westworld fanart: Step by Step

The colors weren't that easy to pick, although I had some good pic of Maeve to help. As usual I just love the final graphite rendering, but the final colors seem to please lots of people, so I'm happy!

First step, quite far from the final thang! Was not sure about Maeve at that point, seeing just half the face was a concept from day one and I thought here it wasn't a good idea.

It's about time! i had this one in store for weeks now, as I've fallen in love with the HBO show since the very first episode. The character of Maeve is incredible, until the final minutes! Congrats to the actress Thandie Newton, part of the brillant cast.

The "light eye" thing is an old trick in classic scifi, I couldn't resist to play with that, hehe!
