Crocodiles!
Doing some visual effects for a crocodile movie at the moment.
Apparently, though, shark movies are more popular, so we're suggesting a re-brand:
semi-unrelated, we made the dumbest animated short in the world, which we'll get online soon. Here's a scene from it:
Not Quites
We write a whole bunch of possible ideas, pick one every week to be the regular strip. There's lots of stuff that doesn't make the cut, though- it's too short, too anachronistic, doesn't have an ending or whatever.
Some of those bits we like, though, and that's what these are. Not-quite-strips.

Given that it's all pretend anyway, why not simulate more exotic flesh?

Do you get that thing where you have a really good idea in a dream but then you forget it when you wake up?
Frustrating.
Sometimes you get the opposite, though, where you remember the really good idea and it's not quite all it seemed while you were sleep-addled.
That's the story of this video- I had a dream that a pear was singing the Nick Cave song "Mercy Seat" and when I woke up, I felt oddly moved. Having a pear sing it is such a great idea- adds so much... I dunno....

Technology? Someone else's job.
Possibly at some point we'll figure out how to do moving tattoos.
When that happens, will there be any designs to get?
Probably best to start designing animated tattoos now, just in case the technology is near.
