When I made the Calamari Top, my plan was to also include a skirt, but at the time, my pattern making skills were not quite adequate for what I had in mind. Form-fitting, silky smooth goodness always turns my head, so for my first foray into dresses, I decided to create a cocktail dress.

The defining feature of the dress is the keyhole style opening on the bust which forms a subtle reverse-heart shape with the help of your honey's bust. There are also two strategically placed strips of shiny material placed on the periphery of the dress to give your girl a beautiful glimmer that runs down the edge of her curves.
