Development of 0.7.10.0 went along quite nicely, so the official release might be just around the corner (mostly because of my sickness, this time the artists had time to catch up :D). So here's what to look forward to! This update is mostly about everyone's favourite Tech Wizard, so she got an updated character portrait (and maybe a few more).
Let's get technical
Well, being one of the most graphics intensive updates we ever had since a long time, it took us way to long to release this update. On the positive note, hopefully most bugs from 0.7.8.0 have been fixed, which means 0.7.9.0 should be a matter of (<Deedebot.2.0.1> Insert time period here ["seconds", "minutes", "hours", "days", "weeks", "months", "years", "aeons"]).

So, the release it taking its good while since this has been one of the most graphic intensive updates we had in a long time. Many new locations, items and NPC's. Specially the new NPC's where many only appear in the after work office party caused some headaches, which lead to the development of a toolkit which could create generic NPC's the Player can Interact with. In total 0.7.4/5 tips the scales at a total of 564k words (and increase of 76k from 0.7.2, 14k of which were added in the course of post-release hole-plugging and bugfixing) - that means that secretary, as a whole is now a hair longer than Atlas Shrugged (561k).
This is hopefully the last update before the definite release 0.7.4 (which is as usual 0.7.5), and then we head right into 0.7.6. Also, while the game will stay free forever there will be some patreon benefits cumming up in the near future, so stay tuned.

So, there is a slight delay in the current version. We're still waiting for some assets for the avatar doll, but writing and coding for the next update is finished. Live and slightly buggy. There is currently a small bug if you try to load a save file from a previous version, but this might already be fixed (on the discord server in the bug section) while we speak... err... write. 0.7.0.0 is the first content release within 0.7, as there is a 0.7.1 planned shortly(...ish) afterwards with more content, but for another character who needed more love.
Anyway...
Well, 0.7 does come along nicely, a Test release for January seems very likely. Which means its Poll time (... yeah, there is no correlation between those two sentences). Anyway, this is a two part poll. One part [Scene] to decide which scene should be drawn next by CAM and how does the Community NPC meet up with Player. The strict looking man above is the Manager of retention. He's already in a few scenes, so there needs to be a picture to the name.
Regarding the update, even more Bugfixes, a few typos destroyed. The Import and Export Button are things of the past, everything is now handled over the normal save interface.
That Bug might sound familiar, but somehow some scenes could eat your inventory unlike a certain post apocalyptic game from a big publisher. So to prevent that please use this newest release.
By the way, there are almost daily uploads of in between bugfixes on the discord server in the bug section if you don't want to wait for a new release.
