Merman Warrior - Sketch

I finally started working on this guy, which also will take part of my Mermay project. Patrons who supported me on on May will get high resolution pictures of the whole project, artsteps, psd file and timelapse video according to their tier. I'll keep you guys updated!

About this: In my main story, although Miki's feelings for Leif is canon, it's not mutual. In the beginning, Miki started to develop feelings towards Leif because he resembled a special person he once met, but as times goes, he started to love Leif for who he is and not for who he resembles to. Kacchan - Work in progress

Hey guys! I already started to work on new content for June. Since May is over, there's way more room for different kind of art (May was all about drawing mermaid stuff everyday haha) and I felt like drawing a grown-up Bakugou from My Hero Academia. 

That's my progress so far. In the meantime, I'll work on finishing my pending stuff and I will make a new post once the rewards of May have been sent.

Mermay 31 - Thanks

This was my last entry for the Mermay challenge. It was my first time doing it and I wanted to do something special (and unexpected) for my last piece.

Also, I THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS for having your support here. It allowed me to go through this challenge and complete it. I thank you.

Merman warrior - pose sketching

Some ideas for the final artwork. I was debating between 1 and 2, but I think I'll go 1 because the way he's holding the axe and the muscle arms flex to show how physically and strong he can be: "I'm ready". 2 looks more agile and active but genearally spekaing, I like 1's shape the most.

I made another one, just in case. I'm personally debating between the middle and the right one, being the right one leading my preference. What's yours favorite?

Merman warrior - color test and weapon design

For next stage, I went for this final design and chose an axe-like weapon; It looks powerful and it resembles the norse axe, signature weapon of the vikings. I also wanted to apply an undersea concept for it.

These are the color palettes that I chose for my warrior varying in the axe and the tattoo, both contrasting with each other: Axe (warm color) and Tattoo (cold color) and viceversa.

I like both but I haven't decided yet and I'd like to know your opinion.

Mermay week 3 summary

Here's a summary of my entries for this week. It's the first time I ever do this challenge and I can't believe I've got this far. I must thanks my patrons because without their support, this may not be possible.

Concept Art: Mermay or Sigurd?

Hey guys! In the beginning of the month I announced that I'd do my oc Sigurd's concept art, like the one I did for my oc Kalua. Since there's #mermay ongoing this month, there's a character design challenge about this topic that I'd like to try, however, I can't do both. That's why I'm letting you decide the kind of content you'd like to have for this month. In the case mermay is chosen, I'd do Sigurd next month.

Long hair Leif

April batch summary

Kalua - Concept Art
