Status Update 2

Hello, folks! I'm happy to announce that Yorna's artist is back in the saddle. Well, not entirely - he still has to do a few medical check-up in the upcoming month but the art will be flowing steadily.

Status update

Hello, guys. I want to share disturbing news - Yorna's artist is ill and needs some time to set up a surgery. Apparently, his recent visit to a dentist backfired because it got him some kind of infection. Not a pleasing condition to work with and it stops the art preparation until he'll sort his health issues out.

I hope this will not affect the release date for version 0.2.0 yet it's still possible. Anyway, I'm still working on the schedule with the text and logic parts of the game.

July -> August development plans

Hello! It's time to share the general plan for July -> August period.

Let's start with interactive scenes from baron's mansion. So far I received a positive feedback about the feature and will definitely work toward making more such content. In version 0.2.0 I'll add more clients and more frames for Ada's actions. You can expect more lewd emotions and some wet, sloppy action.

Yorna v0.1.5 release schedule reminder

Just wanted to make sure all of the players have a clear understanding when they can expect to see the game.

Archmage tier patrons get download links July 7th, Master tier - 14th, Magus tier - 21st. And the public release will arrive July 28th.

Yorna v0.1.5 patch notes

Version 0.1.5 brings the usual content pack: a few new zones with a puzzle, secondary quests, a psycho-parrot pet and 3 core scenes each with 2 variations - normal and lewd. 2 of such scenes are the standard boss and monster scenes and the last one is special. It's a repeatable modular scene. More on this in the features section.

I also updated the “Special Controls” help text both on the Patreon and inside game packages. Now it should be easier to navigate and use.

Here's a frame from upcoming H scene which will differ from the stuff you saw in the demo release. It will be the first step in constructing a new type of scenes - interactive and recursive.

"Scene length option" Poll results

First of all, thanks for participating. I'm happy to see 123 votes in the poll with 59% of them want to see the option. I already finished all the preparations and adapted existing scenes to have shortened variations. 

Despite not being in the original plans, the change won't harm your saves in any way. It's a painless addition to Yorna's features from the upcoming version 0.1.5 and further on.

Feedback poll about scene length option

I got feedback about scenes being too long for some players and thought about making an option. It will allow players to choose if they want to see full scenes or short versions of the same scenes. This feature is easy to implement and won’t require a lot of time.

Question is – What do you think about this option? Will you use it?

“Next monster girl” poll results - June

Looks like polls aren’t very popular for some reason – the first one got 10 votes out of 28 possible. Oh well…

Interesting how 5 out of 6 candidates ended up with the same amount of votes. So, it all comes down to voting power at the end. Oni wins with 5 points, Orc and Minotaur are on the second place with 4 points both. Arachne has 3 and Lizard ended up with 2.

Development plans for June -> July

Like with LoC development, I’ll make such posts every month so you guys will know what to expect and maybe drop me some feedback or ideas.
