I can't express how many iterations this went through to get to a satisfactory level. It went through enough to warrant reworking the original Charmander/Charmeleon/Charizard cards because they drastically paled in comparison. Happy Monday!
Today I'm releasing the first rework/update to some older cards, the Charmander family! I was never really satisfied with the original cards, and as I've improved my skills, it felt right updating them now - especially in preparation for Mega Charizard X & Y!

I really like the design of the Nidoqueen Moemon sprite, and I think it translates well into Koikatsu. Except for the headband ears. As I said in the previous post, headbands kinda imply these girls are just cosplayers, but I like the monster girl concept more.

Here's Squirtle and her evolutions, Wartortle and Blastoise!
Squirtle and Wartortle were exceptionally difficult because of their tails (not shown in this screenshot due to coloring issues with the scene itself, not the cards). I could have settled with using the racoon tail, but it looked weird and was too large. So I used a few accessories to mimic a squirrel-like tail (ps, modders, can we get a squirrel tail?)

I actually really enjoy how these ones came out, despite not being able to do a tail flame. Pom-poms look okay as a fake fire, but you're unable to attach them to the tip of the tail. Still, it looks fine, and you could always add it in scenes.

Here are the first three Moemon; Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur!
These were lots of fun to make, although we are limited in Koikatsu in terms of accessory options, the only "leaf" available has a daisy embedded. It isn't too bad, although I would have preferred a simple leaf. If one ever becomes available, I will update these.
