I think I'm past the halfway point with the coloring. It's all villains from here on out.

There's still a lot to be done, but I think it's high time for an update! Getting the colors to work together will come towards the end, but I'll be going for sort of blueish/dark shadows with very bright ambient lights on the left and right sides.

Some of these characters I started shading with shadows first (mrbot, Sypher), while others I built up with specific colors at full range (Tomoe, Zetch). Working on Nora was the most comfortable middle ground of slowly building up from a dark base, ...

NSFW suggestions?

So I have a list of characters I've considered for NSFW/yuri pieces, but most of them are from fighting games or anime I'm familiar with. Do you have any ideas or recommendations to make things a bit more interesting? Feel free to comment or simply send me a message if there's someone you'd like. Just keep a few things in mind:

-No Nintendo characters

-None of my original characters (dark lancer was an exception!)

-Recommend as many as you'd like, but don't take it personally if I ...

Collages are hard. The first thing you have to do is make sure everyone fits. While doing this, you want each character to have an interesting pose as well as something that helps convey their personality. I like the concept of having some characters very large to express mystery or provoking thought. Here's some more steps to see how the process is coming along:

Noa & Flint

Originally an NPC concept for Rudra, I liked her design so much that I broke her off into her own fantasy universe. The second time I drew her, I wanted to have a slain beast in the background. That beast turned into a relaxing dragon, which then became her best friend. And yet, after 7 years I STILL didn't have a name for this guy.

How would you feel about me working on a long-term RUDRA illustration?

I've wanted to make a large illustration with everyone from the RUDRA universe for a long time now. The plan was always to be sort of like Mario Kart where it would replace the title screen once you've beaten the game.

There are many, many characters in RUDRA. I'm talking about all of the generic enemies as well as boss characters and NPC's. This could take some time (2-3 months?). As a compromise I could make sure to have at least 1 character poll and 1 yuri piece for rewards each month.

Samus Returns: Gravity

I love the new design of the Gravity suit in Metroid: Samus Returns. It has some slightly medieval elements with layered scale-like sections. Really feels like chozo technology.
