I can’t believe it’s the end of the week already! It’s just flown by!

I was pretty consumed by writing this week, which is probably why I didn’t notice it pass, lol! :D

The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 21/June/2024

Was a week of checking off lots of boxes again this week!

I finished writing all the needed blurbs and tag lines for Hosted Games finally! It takes a looooong time to think about a bunch of different ways to describe the story, especially in only 45 words, 80 words, etc! But it was actually really fun breaking down what’s coming up in the story and thinking how to vaguely and mysteriously hint at it, hehe! ;D

The Wayhaven Chronicles— Update+14/June/2024

Exciting week!

Chapter Two edits are done on my side, so I sent that off to the editor yesterday and am on to starting on Chapter Three!

Chapter Two will be added to the demo quite quickly after it's all completely done and polished, but after that I’m going to wait until I have Chapter Three and Four totally completed before updating the demo with those. But there is A LOT going on in Chapter Two that will get the excitement going, as well as setting up the story so much!

Characters of Wayhaven - Tina Poname

World of Wayhaven - Rivett Pond & Grounds

Next in the "World of Wayhaven" series is Rivett Pond and Grounds.

As the warehouses in Wayhaven fell into disuse and the docks became used more for fun than commerce, the residents needed somewhere green in town, Rivett Pond & Grounds was formed.

Super quick one this week ‘cause I really want to dive back into it!

It was social media days this week, and the internet held out long enough for me to actually get everything completed! Yay!

I also put in an extra quite large variation to a scene for the end of Chapter Two. But it wasn’t just one variation but a choice I had to add for each Love Interest route, the love triangle, and the friend route…phew!

I had thought about adding more, but it just doesnâ€...

Book 4 Love Interest Opening Scene Aesthetics

You know I have a problem...I can't get enough of these types of graphics so I couldn't not share the aesthetics I created for each Love Interest opening scene in the newly released Book 4 Demo. Though I must say, I am having a hard time picking a favourite among them!

So around social media days this week, I'm having fun looking at what is to come in Chapter Three! I still need to do more editing and things on Chapter Two to finish it up before sending it off to the editor, but I always like to keep myself motivated by getting enthusiastic at what's to come.

I also find that knowing the scene I'll be working on next helps me to start picturing it in my mind way before writing it, which means when I do come to write it, I've already got it mapped out ...

That Bit Extra - Detailed Map - The Wayhaven Lighthouse & Coast

Nai has done an amazing job with this section of the map!

Wayhaven’s lighthouse was one of the first buildings, apart from warehouses, built for the town. With such bustling trade, it was imperative that boats rowing in from the ships anchored past the headland made it to the shore without incident, or they risked having their cargo lost to the depths of the lake.

Nowadays, the lighthouse remains working but offers little more than an interesting tourist destination for the rar...
