I've been wanting to explore "lo fi" video production for a while since I really tend to gravitate towards lo-fi when I'm watching asmr videos myself. The lower quality is really effective at triggering asmr for me. So I purchased an old camera from ebay for very cheap to see if it would work out.

Last week I visited the christkindlmarket and took my camera along to get some video footage. So I am editing a small practice "vlog" video (it will be in an asmr voice over style) and it will be up for six dollar patrons this month.

Ok here's a big photo post!
Finally all of my backdrop pieces arrived this week so I was able to get to spray painting them. They arrived super shiny, almost metallic looking which wasn't the look I was going for.

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates. I haven't been able to set up yet for the next video. At the beginning of October I ordered a backdrop for this video, but only PART of it has arrived (the other parts still say they're in China >_<). The part that arrived is super shiny and looks metallic so I will have to spray paint it all with a matte color.

I actually recorded everything for it last night but found out that one of my mics wasn't plugged in properly so I will have to re-record most of the video (OOF)! That's ok! It's a medicinal stickers clinic. I wanted to do a video with stickers but had to put a little twist to it. There's a lot of sticky sounds in this video and I think they sound pretty good! Excited to share. :)
