Learning style doesn't exist

This video confirms 2 things in my belief. (It's my personal opinion. Please read with cautions)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhgwIhB58PA&ab_channel=Veritasium

1. To learn anything, people don't learn by relying on only one perception or one method. We use them all. But in different ratios.

2. There're 2 stages of receiving informat...

Week 12 : Summary

I has been 3 months straight I did what I want to, I learnt so much, might not be what I expected but it may be better. Here's the summary

week1-4 : I'm trying to learn by my old fashion. Some of my idea were corrects, some are not.

Week 5-8 : I took so much effort in learning. But the progress is so little. Try to learn about the brain why it didn't work. Then I realized I understood something wrong my entire life.

Week 9-12 : I'm deeply interested in Neuroscienc...

Week 11.875 : Meditation....should I?

(Again, This is my only personal opinion and belief. And the information in this article is not a fact. I just want a record to track down the process. Read with caution.)

We get distracted not because something really distracted us, it because our brain is lazy and want to save the energy. So it tells us to stop focusing on the task and do something fun instead.

is there anything we can do to avoid that.

try to "FOCUS" more

and how to increas...

Week 11.75 : Learn like "Aphantasia".

Aphantasia is the inability to voluntarily create one or some mental images, sound, smell or  in one's mind.

People with aphantasia can't create mental image. They see only a blank black screen in their head or only a blur fog.

Week 11.5 : The illusion of comprehension

(Related to Philosophy test by Glenberg, Wilkinson and Epstein, Coursera: learn how to learn and my own experience)

When you learn, you may think you understand the subject....most of it. But in fact, you may understand only 20%-30% of the information of what you listen to or read. Because you might use the wrong method of learning.

The most common illusion I've discovered are

1. Read the text aloud like a reporter. :

Week 11 : You're clever when you sleep

One shocking knowledge for me is...

"You're clever when you have more neurons in your brain and the only way to grow your neuron is while you sleep"

With a quality sleep after a quality learning, that's the most effective way to learn. Confirm by Neuroscience.

I heard more than thousands time sleep well is good for your health but no one ever talked about cleverness is related.

I don't know I should believe it or not because it's so hard to test the outcome...b...

Recall Experiment

you need to recall. You need to practice. It's easy to say than do.

The key to "Recall" is to check you can do the same as the thing you learnt without looking any example.

This is my experiment. (0 mins/ 30 mins/ 8 hours)

1. I sat in an quiet room. No one nearby. I look at the reference very carefully and very closely. Spoke aloud about reasons and relations I saw on the picture (like a crazy) while drew the picture very slowly with no rubber was used. Then I closed...

Week 10 : Learn how to learn

I really thank Davcc for introducing this course to me.

https://www.coursera.org/learn/learning-how-to-learn

This answers many questions in my head. And combines with all knowledge from what I learned from experience, listen to many podcasts and reading many papers, this is getting much and much sense.

This course is an overview of how human learn beh...

I watched this video long ago and didn't think it's important......until now. TwT

This one I think is the effective way to learn arts. For other subject, I believe it's the same process but use different methods.
