So this is probably something you weren’t expecting...To explain myself a little bit, a week ago or so I suddenly had the idea that I wanted to do a short One Shot kinda like "Pierce the Sky," but that small idea eventually expanded into a 14 Chapter long mini. series. Whoops.

Buni vs the Underworld

I finished this one on stream a while ago, but I never put it up because its kind of a huge spoiler. Buuuuuuuuut since you guys don't know the context for how they got into this situation does it really count as a spoiler? (And I did it on a public stream anyway so I suppose it doesn't really matter)

Anyways, Ghost Kitsune is always fun to do the effects for, and doing the gold gradient for Buni's outlines was pretty cool too I think. The unified color palette of White, Yellow, and Red ...

Fox and Bunny

A couple of experimental stuff with the duo, just testing various drawing styles out. I really like how they look in the Analysis art though, might carry over some of those design cues to the actual series.

First•Star Chapter 1 WIP

I didn't want to keep you guys waiting for so long, i've got comms to work on and other comic projects along with irl stuff, but I at least wanted to show what I have so far for the first chapter of this series. I'm hoping that the Christmas season will give me more free time to work on this and have it finished by Christmas, but if not, I at least wanted to give proof that I'm working on it.

I've been playing Banjo-Tooie

I don't like tooie as much as Kazooie (worlds are too big for your movement speed, half the worlds are a slog to go through, backtracking the new moves are only really there for backtracking and the old moves that were in Kazooie were nerfed to facilitate the backtracking in the first place) 

but Tooie feels way better to control than Kazooie does thats for sure (and the other half of the the games worlds are super fun to go through, some exploits cut back on the games backtracking...

idk the concept of fantasy creatures being used for modern day conveniences has always been kinda cool to me. Why take an uber when you could be riding a dragon, or a bi-pedal mech, or a giant flying squirrel?

These three and the bureau they run is probably what First Star centers around the most. Lots of characters are told their problems will be solved if they head to the bureau, some characters are guided to the bureau, others join the main three in the bureau line-up at some point, one person makes it their goal to get into the bureau.

Basically, they're super important.

I've been super into thinking about one-shot ideas lately, and this space guy is apart of that. Is he a delivery man? A galactic ranger? A Space Pirate? I'm honestly not sure, but thats what concept art is for I suppose...

The Tale of the "Pirate Destroyer"

These 3 images are a part of the same narrative. Basically, a bounty hunter by the name of "the Pirate Destroyer" goes after Boaroton, who ends up being cocky about his chances of winning and as a result, loses pretty badly and gets captured.

He'll break free eventually of course, he always does.

Pants hater

So now that Kitsune & Buni Vol 2 made Kitsune's hatred of clothes official, I felt it only appropriate that Kitsune's definition of "a good time" would involve ripping him a new one. Literally, in this case. I guess that would mean he has a thing for clothing damage?

So y'know when I said I suddenly got why people thought, Kitsune was hot? Well I was in the middle of drawing the first image when I tweeted that. Guess i'm a sucker for goofy faces, I mean, thats how Lighren got me (the picture with the bread in his mouth).

First•Star comic preview

So I’ve been working on First•Star a lot lately ever since Kitsune & Buni 2 released, and I’ve been getting about 1-2 pages done a day at my current pace. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to show off the full 1st chapter soon, but for now I wanted to show off a page I was pretty happy with.
