I'm still experimenting with coloring – I'm not sure if every new thing I try (like the softly shaded shadows here) is gonna stick around in future drawings. We'll see.

I realized too late that the tattoo on his lower gut should've been different. (These days I'm inking the old-fashioned way, with technical pens and paper, so large-scale corrections aren't really an option.)
But then I figured – a monster pear shape like that still speaks better by itself than any title or tattoo ever could, right?

Wasn't super sure I had the skill to pull off making his rolls look like they were lit by a TV beyond the edge of the drawing, but decided to just go for it. Do you think the experiment paid off?

Their first couple of trips together, he'd let himself go and pig out, and then vow to put himself on a diet the minute they got back home. But soon it became clear that she wanted him stuffed to the gills all year round, and every vacation became instead a chance to push his limits.
