Diana is surelly Randal's happiest memory. Always supportive, always there to cheer him up. No wonder why he got touchy about what Mora said about his real parents. There's only one mom in the world for him.

Randal is probably the most family oriented guy in the farm. Dreaming on raising his own someday.

Randal's flashback continues in this page, and we see that Mora talks without thinking first, just like she often do in the present. Whatever it was, it made pup Randal very upset.

And yes, his birthday present was the cap he's wearing so proudly. Diana didn't have much at this point, and the farm was already in decline but of course, Randal didn't mind.

It's Simpler Times all over again!

Randal is sharing more memories about his mom, Diana. Back to the day when he got all the spicy pizza he could eat. Props to mama cow for enduring all that to make his son happy. It's really great to show her more and I hope to do it more often in the future.

I think this is the first time we have Diana actually talking in the main LL comic after over 10 years. Or maybe she did and I simply forgot, haha. Either way, it's great.
