Who doesn't love a little tentacle art now and then? Sometimes my drawings would spring right from a good piece of photo reference, like a bodybuilder stretching his arms up into a really vulnerable position. Add a laughing face, some writhing tentacles and you're guaranteed a good time. Or, at least, some laughs. I hope you enjoy "Tentickles", originally posted to my old site in 2009!

It's time for another cartoon revenge piece! Popeye delighted in tickling Bluto's trapped helpless bare foot in "The Royal Four-Flusher" episode, so I just had to draw a scenario where he got some payback. In the episode "Swimmer Takes All", Popeye actually winds up in this exact position but, sadly, Bluto just jumps over him to get ahead in the race. I mean, Popeye's bare feet were RIGHT THERE. What a missed tickletunity.
Anyone who knows me knows that I have a massive crush on Bluto....
Now this was an ambitious one. Robin is an all-time favorite tickle victim for some reason. Maybe it's the outfit? In this drawing I had virtually every Batman villain lending a hand to tickle the daylights out of the poor Boy Wonder led, of course, by the Joker. A member suggested that the infamous bondage scene featuring Aquaman on Smallville would make a perfect tickling scene and I had to agree. First off, peeps: yup, I got COVID for Christmas. My test came back positive today. I'm already on the mend and feeling a lot better. Because I was vaxxed, my symptoms were relatively minor. Back in 2012 I did a private commission for someone who has given me permission to repost it. It's a never been seen before classic AHA piece! Rather than just posting it as-is I am sprucing it up a bit. I'm redrawing the face and the feet of the ticklee, as I feel like they didn't quite hold up over the years.
This was one of the more bizarre requests I got back in the days of my old site. Someone was a big fan of Beetle Bailey and loved the way Beetle was always drawn in a jumbled heap after the Sarge had given him the what-for. You can either imagine this is Mr. Meloni the actor or Detective Stabler, captured by evil gang members who are trying to get information about the OCCB out of him. I had to do something special for this one, hence the addition of upper body tickling to this piece.

I feel like my celebrity likeness drawing abilities have come a long way since this piece. Someone back in 2008 requested that it would be fun to see the Manning brothers capture and tickle Tom Brady in order to tire him out before the Superbowl. I was a big fan of Team Fortress 2 back in the day. All of the characters were so well-designed and all so different from one another. One of the most famous celebrity bondage scenes is the one where Sean Connery's Bond is strapped spread eagle to a table while a laser slowly approaches his nether regions. In my version, "Goldfeather" prefers to toy with his captive, ticklish victims. He doesn't expect 007 to talk...he expects him to LAUGH. Of course, if he dies laughing, all the better. I tried to make the feet in this one resemble Connery's actual soles. Hope you enjoy it!

I've done a handful of tickling animated gifs but "Cliffhanger" was one of the earliest and, I think, most successful ones I've ever done. An unfortunate outlaw is tied dangling head-first over a cliff and the soles of his boots have been peeled off exposing his ticklish bare feet. A cowboy hero (or villain?) tickles the poor guy silly. I think everyone into male tickling who is around my age knows of the famous Flintstones Loudrock scene. The wicked glee that the burly neighbor took in trapping and tickling Fred's feet left an indelible impression on me. It's one of my favorite mainstream cartoon scenes of all time. I was a big fan of the Christopher Nolan Batman films, so of course I had to do an homage to them. Back in 2008 I drew "Why So Serious?" where the Joker has Batman strung up and removes one of his leather boots so he can go to town on his exposed, vulnerable sole.
