Ti'maar and Lue'maar, my twin cheetah brothers characters ^^ I wanted to draw something quick with them, and what is better than friendly cheet licks? :P
This was an experiment to test a few different things with my comic art style. Starting with a different sketch and ink style, and then a different way to do flat colors to add more hue variation and texture. I've put off making a sketchdump FAR too long XD It's been about a year! I even had to filter a lot of crappy sketches out to get it down to this many haha.
I will start making sketch dumps more often, since I am drawing way more. Probably I'll do them bi-weekly or monthly so they don't get near this long. This is too many sketches for one post XD Future ones will have a lot more traditional ones as well, as I am streaming traditional sketches too :)

Finally, after being around for 5 years, Ti'maar finally gets a reference sheet! :D I've never made a ref sheet for any of my characters until now! I'm so excited to get this made, it has been long overdue :D Ti'maar is the main character in my current comics, and he is the character that has the most meaning to me out of all of mine ^^

Here Zatani is enjoying a refreshing afternoon bath, in the waterfall of a natural spring :)

This painting was a fun challenge for me! All of the warm desert rocks and lighting, along with the waterfall and effects, was a joy to paint :) And of course the Zatani herself was great to draw and paint :D Overall I'm super happy with this piece!
