---Logan's POV---

"Chronicles of Aeltia uploaded two promotional images?"

I was both shocked and delighted. It turned out that even the game company knew how to properly promote a serious game.

Previously, without even a promotional video, they had boldly announced a beta test, it was downright absurd.

With a "since I'm here, I might as well check it out" attitude, I decisively clicked on the blurry images in the pop-up window.

"Alright, show me what you've waste...

---Viktor's POV---

Just as the glowing orb was questioning its life choices, Edgar had already dug out all my bones.

I watched as he erected a barrier at the spot to shield against the raging magical winds. The translucent dome of energy rippled as it deflected the harsh gusts, creating a pocket of calm around us.

At least we won't have to shout over the wind anymore, I thought as my scattered bones began to move.

My white bones made a cracking sound as they a...

My second video was quickly produced.

As expected, the video data skyrocketed.

Take that, algorithm! Who's the small-time content creator now? I grinned at my screen, scrolling through the metrics. Wait, these numbers can't be right... they're actually good?

I understood why, although veteran players claimed that virtual reality games were fake, deep down, they still hold some expectations for them. The fans of Netherworld Revolution...

In the forest, Orochimaru's past physical form was still moving among the trees, judging which one concealed the two figures.

Meanwhile, Orochimaru's consciousness had already moved ahead, approaching the innermost tree.

Experience told him that the two people were hiding behind that tree.

As he anticipated finally resolving years of unanswered questions, a wicked, satisfied smile spread across his face. His steps, buoyed by excitement, became almost lighthearted.

"I'm back."

"Welcome back, Hayate-niisan."

"Welcome home, brother."

In the dining room on the second floor of the Gekkō Dojo, Hayate was greeted by a table full of dishes prepared by Haku, who waited alongside Kagami for his return.

Ever since the location of the Chunin Exams was announced to be in Konoha, all ninja above the rank of chunin had been overwhelmed with work.

Jonin were primarily assigned as personal guards to the daimyōs and officials of various n...

Watching Fugaku interact with the crowd from the stage, Tazuna couldn't help but feel envious. The easy rapport, the natural charisma—even when flustered, Fugaku commanded attention.

The Uchiha—after all, they were the Uchiha.

In the minds of Konoha's ninja, they always held a special place. Their very name carried weight that the Sarutobi, for all their achievements, couldn't match.

Before the clan meeting, he had indeed thought about vying for the position of Hokage Ad...

In the first month of the 53rd year, the speeches of the Hokage Advisor candidates began as scheduled.

The stage was set up at the intersection of the southern, northern, and western districts, where there was ample open space.

From early morning, the area was crowded with people.

Everyone was waiting for a good show.

To the audience's anticipation, the current Hokage, the former Hokage, and the two advisory elders arrived together, accompanied by the four candidates.<...

Today was New Year's Day, the first day of the year, and the weather was beautiful.

On such a great day, Fugaku stayed home preparing his draft speech, his brush hovering over the paper.

To let their clan leader work in peace, the Uchiha gathered to create a quiet environment, ensuring no one would disturb him and affect his performance.

As a result, the area surrounding his residence was packed with clan members, their watchful eyes scanning for any potential disturbance. View Post

The Hyūga elders were quick to come to a consensus.

Fugaku and Hiashi had barely exchanged pleasantries when the elders sat up straight again, their deliberation concluded.

Seeing this, the two clan leaders dropped their casual demeanor.

"Fugaku-sama," the Hyūga elder chosen to speak for the group, Saki, addressed him. "We deeply appreciate your sincerity. The Hyūga clan will not disappoint the goodwill of the Uchiha clan and will do our utmost to ensure the success of th...

After the formal pleasantries, Fugaku finally got to the main topic. His hands were folded carefully on the table.

"Hiashi, on behalf of the Uchiha clan, I sincerely invite the Hyūga clan to co-manage the Police Force. What do you think?"

"This is a significant matter, Fugaku." Hiashi didn't give a direct response, his expression remaining well-controlled.

But Masashi knew that Hiashi was deeply tempted.

Overwhelmingly tempted.

Looking out from the window of the Raikage's office, one could see clouds drifting between the mountains. When the clouds were especially dense, the view transformed into a vast "white sea," the peaks of Kumo rising like islands in an ocean of mist.

The Fourth Raikage sat at his desk, staring at the document in front of him.

Ten minutes had passed since this document had been delivered.

The office was silent. Aside from the Raikage himself, there was no one else present.

Shikaku was seen by Masashi as the most likely candidate to be chosen as the Hokage Advisor.

He possessed all the necessary qualifications.

He was a standard-bearer of the "Hokage faction." And he was close in age to Minato.

During Minato's time in the jonin team, Shikaku often provided strategic advice, earning Minato's full recognition of his abilities. As long as Shikaku garnered the most votes, Minato would not hesitate to appoint him as Hokage Advisor.

My expression became serious as I studied the orb more carefully. The golden light pulsed weakly under my scrutiny, like a dying flashlight trying to convince someone it still had battery life.

"So you're not just a sentient fragment of divine essence, but a fragment that became sentient?"

That was like finding a self-aware USB stick in a world that hadn't invented electricity yet.

For a divine essence, a tool with such an instrumental and functional...

As the leader of the Uchiha clan, Fugaku didn't have many personal hobbies.

First and foremost, he wasn't particularly interested in power. What he cared about was gaining honor. His decision to take on the role of clan leader was purely driven by personal interest.

After all, the position represented not power but prestige.

Even if the Uchiha clan leader wanted to build an extra bathroom in the compound, he'd have to convene a clan meeting for a vote.

Moreover, the le...

The 52nd year since the founding of Konoha was drawing to a close.

When it came to organizing meetings, Minato wasn't the most efficient, and he still hadn't given Masashi a definite update.

Masashi wasn't particularly anxious about it, though he did have one regret: this year's Uchiha Ice and Snow Festival wouldn't happen.

The ceasefire between Kumo and Konoha had yet to culminate in a formal agreement, leaving the borders of the Land of Fire less than fully stabilized.

The system panel displayed a bunch of garbled text before my eyes.

Sometimes the universe has a sick sense of humor, I thought, squinting at the incomprehensible characters floating before me.

It was explained that the system panel generated by divine traits still couldn't fully parse this item.

An item that even gods couldn't investigate clearly? And yet, such a thing existed on my person?

I immediately touched the text on the panel a...

The peaceful Konoha was always an ideal haven.

"Honestly, who told you to act tough?"

"You're just causing trouble for us."

Team 7, having just returned from their mission, walked down the street.

At the front of the group, Kakashi was casually holding Icha Icha Paradise in one hand, strolling in a way no ordinary jonin could imitate—without watching where he was going.

When Masashi pulled his hand out of the White Zetsu clone's chest for the last time, he had a sudden, bizarre craving.

Anyway, it had taken quite a while.

He finally understood the meaning of chakra exhaustion limits. His muscles trembled slightly, a clear sign he'd pushed beyond his usual boundaries.

Of course, it wasn't the kind of complete depletion where there was not a drop left, b...

Quick Question to MoP

I read the chapter and was thinking... Why shouldn't I change the setting to the God of Creativity? The main character can still masquerade as the God of Light to fool the Church followers. Getting players from Earth would be easier with "creativity" in my opinion.

P.S. It's creativity, not creation.

Black Zetsu was, without a doubt, a chatterbox.

Masashi truly believed this. And here I thought Uchiha elders could talk. This guy puts them all to shame.

For the first time in his life, despite clearly being the one "picking apart" someone else, it felt like he was the one being picked apart. The other party seemed to still have so much more to say, like they could go on for another chapter.

In the world of Aeltia, magic and swordsmanship coexisted, ancient legends and mysterious ruins covered the land.

Humans, dragons, elves, and dwarves lived together in this world, where magical creatures were as numerous as the stars.

In the central part of Aeltia lay the Frostwind Plains, a wasteland where monsters ran rampant.

Take the gamble—turn a bicycle into a motorbike.

If it failed, then Plan B was the only option.

"Indra's Eye?" Masashi wore an expression that was unmistakably Uchiha. "Isn't that just the Mangekyō Sharingan?"

"Ridiculous." Black Zetsu scoffed. "That is merely a desperate attempt by the Uchiha to compensate for their degraded ocular techniques."

Masashi had often heard that when two very similar people were put together, it could be difficult.

He didn't really believe it back then, but after meeting Kakuzu this time, he realized it might be true.

"How rude! What are you saying!"

The kunoichi shouted indignantly, glaring at the King's Herald.

Even so, he acted as though he was completely oblivious to their hostility, calmly gazing at Yumiko.

Yamanaka Masamune was a person Masashi vaguely remembered.

The Yamanaka clan, which based its foundations on mental control, had its share of outliers, such as Masamune.

A snake among mind-readers. Almost poetic.

Back when the village was founded, with two powerful figures at the top, even the oddballs stayed in line.

Since Tobirama established the basic organizational structure of Konoha, the jonin corps had been a particularly unique military division.

During a time when other ninja villages were essentially alliances of ninja clans masquerading as villages, Tobirama, who had already founded the Ninja Academy, understood the profound implications of this initiative and implemented corresponding measures.

One measure was appointing the most reliable Senju, Muzo, as the acting principal of the ...
