Okayyy... So knowing what I know now, I went off on a completely bizarre tangent in my review, all because I simply do not possess any ability whatsoever to seperate character models in anime hahaha. I interpreted that last scene all wrong. Nonetheless, this was an amazing episode, and I was glad to see Thorkell get his second confrontation with Thorfinn so soon.

Light's plan became a lot clearer at the end of the episode, as I presume he wants Near and his spy to obtain the fake Death Note. I'm still trying to make sense of the awkward drunk conversation between Misa and Kiyomi though! Kiyomi's facial expression doesn't have me too hopeful about what's gonna happen next.

A surprisingly quiet, philosophical episode. I loved the talk Askeladd gave Thorfinn about the rise and downfall of civilizations, and especially the realization that despite this showing taking place a thousand years before our time, all of it is still so relevant today.

I was really caught off guard by this episode. I loved how the show spent a good while explaining Teru Mikami's actual backstory, and accomplished to make me understand his perspective, where I normally would've just dismissed it for being too black and white. In the meantime, Light seems to be building his network of assets again, and seems to be very much succeeding at doing so!

Jujutsu Kaisen 1x05 Reaction "Curse Womb Must Die Part 2"

Sooo many teases in this episode. Yuji being "dead" but not really, a look at some of our next enemies and a human guy helping them? And lastly, some of the 2nd years who I can only presume will become pretty significant characters. Having caught a few glimpses of the JJK 0 movie, I'm guessing this might be a perfect moment for me to dive into it. I'll probably learn a lot more about them there. I'll be watching it this week and you'll see my reaction next Wednesday!

What an amazing episode. It had me in anticipation the entire time for Thorfinn and Thorkell to reveal their names to each other. While it's a little disheartening to see Thorfinn still not realize who he was actually fighting in the end, I'm sure this won't be the last time they'll meet.

I really don't understand how this show manages to keep introducing new layers to its story when we should be getting so close to the end now! Teru Mikami looks to be an interesting addition to the show, and I sure hope we get to learn about his backstory and motivations!

I love how that line from AoT came back once more, "Every man is a slave to something". Thorfinn may not realize it, but he's a slave to the idea of revenge. It's also the only reason he still wasn't able to win from Askeladd. He may be a skilled warrior, but still lets his emotions get to him. Such an amazing episode!

I hope we don't ever have to see Jabbathe's melon head back on some revenge quest, because he's definitely the first character so far who actually got what he had coming for him. You know it's bad when you get me to actually root for the pirates in this case haha. This episode was fantastic!

Wow, I'm still not really sure how I feel right now. What started off almost as a comedic episode ended in a nightmare. I can't believe Light's dad actually died thinking his son was innocent, and whether that's something I should be happy or upset about? What did you all think?
