Just finishing up on the first page! Wow has it been quite the learning experience! The poll seems to be 12 to 9 for Page releases.
The timeline for making a page seems to be 3 days a page. The current process goes a little like Posing for 2 hours, rendering for 2-5 hours(depending on the panel size, then put onto the page with dialogue bubbles and other comic like things for 1 hour. Approximately 7 hours for a panel.
Now that 1 Page is almost done, I can take what I learned...

I wanted your input for how the novel would be released going forward!
I have the first story pretty much laid out, but its gonna take a lot of rendering. Posting consistency is going to drop a bit.
I've actually been reading some doujinshi to get an idea for the layout. Speech bubbles, line art, and page flow. I actually read through 177013, traumatic stuff.... I don't think I could make something that uh... for a lack of a better word "Tragic"

I've re-done the entire Cafe set! It is probably the most detailed set with plenty of potential for great scenes! Also with this set done work on the actual rendering for the graphic novel panels can be done!
I'm gonna have a poll in a bit asking you guys how its going to be released going forward and also have some extra details.

I plan on making assets as I go, use them, and when I have all the assets that I need for the graphic novel then I'll make that. Hopefully that comes in the near future. In the mean time this outfit is really modular so I can render out a lot of different ...

In the middle of making Mercy a new outfit. Its going to be a part of the Graphic novel idea in the near future. At the same time I am also working again on the Cafe set. Trying to get it to somewhere usable.
The Next post would probably be a simple pin up with her new clothes. Should be out later tomorrow or early the day after!

Spent the last 14 hours sculpting....
The boots are the only thing that I have retopologized so it looks pretty un-detailed. Everything else is sculpt other than Korra's body itself. I am going to try and keep several parts modular, so that there can be some variation on different states of her nudity.
I haven't started on the helmet yet, but I looks like I am going to have to redo her hair as well, probably only keep her ponytail. The collar flap that comes down I am gonna do lat...

In between the last post and this one, I made subtle changes to the skin textures. Should be a bit softer looking. In this lighting its harder to tell because of the glare and color editing in post processing.
Also an update on the Korra new outfit should be coming out in a little bit.
