The Last Heist

I released a film called The Rat back in March, which was well received and a few patrons have DM'd me asking if I had anything similar to release. The Rat featured a bit of body handling as well as dialogue through the death scene. With The Last Heist, I've tried to take those elements to the next level - so do let me know what you think.

So this is a film that I shot with Emily in Feb 2021 and then promptly forgot about. It's very common when people pop in for a shoot than I'll have a main idea about what we will film, but we will have time at the end and do something short and sweet - like this.

The Stakeout

I've been wanting to do  someone dying in someone's arms for a while, and finally got to shoot it with Danni and Sophia - both of whom turn in Oscar-worthy performances. The Stakeout also features the debut performance of Sydney, who was great to work with so expect to see more of her this year.

For a while, I've wanted to try the whole "dying in someone's arms" trope. Danni and Sophia are best friends in real life AND are incredible actors so The Stakeout sees the two cops take on more than they can handle, with Sophia paying the ultimate price for their hubris.

This is a short and sweet film I shot with Claire when we had an hour spare at the end of a shoot one day and I wanted to try a different way of doing squibs. That method worked with this shoot, but it ended up not translating well to every performer.
