The Venom movies weren't particularly good, but at least they were fun and watchable in their own way. Morbius is an outright disaster, made even worse by Sony's desperate attempts to attach it to the work Marvel Studios is doing and ride the hype coattails.
I know Marvel is thrilled to have Spidey in the MCU, but the price of being associated with Sony's utter inability to understand how to work with the characters they own the rights to must be the source of a great many eyerolls.

Comic for Wednesday 4/6 (Early High Res)
Finding out we're getting a new Ron Gilbert Monkey Island was not news I was expecting to receive this week.
I have some very fond childhood memories of the first Monkey Island, and that can very easily lend itself to an abundance of hype. But it's been thirty years... that's a lot of built-up nostalgia to try and recapture, and so I have to try and remember to temper my expectations.

About ten years ago, I made the very difficult decision to hit the reset button on my life's work. While I loved my job, I couldn't help but think that, given a decade of experience and a clean slate, I could do a lot of exciting things with these characters.

Analog and D-Pad One Shot #103
Total Warhammer 3 is awesome, but it's always tough in the early days of one of these games when they haven't released the "blood" patch. I understand why they don't ship the game with blood and gore, it makes it easier to score the lower age rating, but a game entirely focused around battle between massive armies always feels a little "off" without a battlefield covered in blood.
