Gaul Falith (144x96)

Gaul Falith is no pretty castle, nor is it grand like that of the Burbric kings. Instead it is sturdy, made to stand the test of time. In that it has been successful: safe for a handful of reparations and minor expansions it has stood strong since the days of Looras the Great, eight hundred years ago.

Hofendal, the capital of Rasfadal, is watched over by the castle called Gaul Falith. It is the home of the Fendalian kings and their family. The main keep houses the royal family mem...

Castle Gate

You've been traveling long, and far, and finally you see before you the great city that you're going. Before you towers a large gatehouse with great towers on its flanks. The portcullis is down, as it has been for weeks. From above the towers a guard calls out to you: 'Hey you! What is your business here? Your answer better be good, or I'll make you regret ever coming here!'. Besides the guard you see two men with loaded crossbows, aimed right at you.

They told you not to expect a warm ...

The Royal Demesne

The Royal Demesne and surrounding lands are commonly referred to as the Land of Castles. Fortified manors of countless dukes, counts and barons dot the land. You'll often encounter lords and knights traveling from town to town and a keen mind might spot a delicate web of political intrigue keeping the place together.

The Royal Demesne is the land under the direct control of the Burbric king, though his control has severely weakened after the War of the Vale. The conflict ended in ...

House of the Elven King

The home of the elven king is hidden away from other mortal creatures, built in the veil between the mortal world and the fey realm. Deep within the Hinder-Larr Forest it almost seems to fade into and out of existence, here one moment and gone the next.

Long ago when the Elven Purge started, many high elves left the continent. Nobility was granted to all who could trace their bloodline back to elven origins. In an attempt to secure their position the ruling nobles began a war against th...

Orcish War Camp

The Orcs of Murr have lived on the shores region of the same name for as long as anyone can remember. The land used to be covered in a soft blanket of greenery and wildlife. In the center of the now gone Murr Forest was the home of the orcs. In the center of their home they kept a large fire, the Eternal Fire of their gods. This fire must burn forever or they will suffer the wrath of their gods.

To keep the fire burning the orcs cut down the forest around them with little regard for nat...

The Village of Dargan

In the foothills of the Gynardan Mountains lies the small village of Dargan. Its community consist mostly of woodcutters and miners who work in the mines in the Gynard Canyon to the south. The people of Dargan are very secluded and like living that way. When outsiders come to town they should not expect a warm welcome.

Two months ago a group of children disappeared and were found six days later, alive, but nothing else. They were like empty husks. A couple of days ago four other childre...

Kingdom of Rasfadal 2.0

May I proudly present to you my newest creation: The Kingdom of Rasfadal. Some of you may recognize this kingdom and you are correct: I originally made a map of the kingdom in the summer of 2019.

This project has been a wild ride. I started way back in July 2020, using the Rasfadal template only for a style test. I tried using the Kingdom Come: Deliverance style and apply it to my old map. It quickly turned into a passion project that I would end up spending 100+ hours on.

Desert Cliff

Many centuries ago the Fall of Parretoa brought magic into the world, leaving a giant grater is his wake. After all this time, arcane energy still seeps out of the depths fueling the abilities of great sorcerers and studied wizards alike.

The energy bundled in this area is so strong that powerful mages can feel it from across the continent. Individuals born with an innate connection to magic often experience a pull towards the crater and many end up going on some sort of pilgrimage. It'...

The City of Londun

Let's step out of Wordal for a bit and visit a much more familiar place. This map of Londun was made for my patron Alex Loveridge. it shows the city of Londun at around 400AD.

Londun was a mostly abandoned city that was built by the romans and was finally being reclaimed after hundreds of years of neglect. People were starting to fix up the old Roman building and patch their roofs with Sod and thatch where they were needed. It was surrounded by a thick roman wall that protected it from ...

The Village of Rysamaan

Along the Delasis River lies the village of Rysamaan, a small trading outpost in the Aganaan Desert. Many merchants from around Tarnen travel through the village to sell their wares or stock up at the Bazaar. Not much goes on in Rysamaan, but every once in a while someone comes around to stirs up the place.

Just the other day a small caravan of merchants from Callaern has come to the village. They carried goods from the new "Western Continent", but refused to sell any insisting the...

The Aganaan is place of mystery and wonder. Its most famous landmark is the Gift of Parretoa, but it also contains many remnants of the lost civilization. Many people have ventured into the desert to find...

Desert Oasis (18x24)

After a long trek you finally see it: an oasis. The water will be fresh, and the shade more than welcome. But wait... You see tents in the distance. Someone else got to the oasis before you.

This could mean many things. It could be a small group of merchants. Maybe you can continue your journey back to the city with them, and trade some goods in the meantime.

Maybe they're fellow adventurers. That would be fine company.

Or it could be that these are the men that were after y...

While the village is mostly secluded, and far removed from the rest of the kingdom, it sees a fair amount of traffic for two reasons. Its hot springs are believed to have cleansing properties. Long ago the springs w...
