So I put this on social media a while ago, but totally forgot to mention it here, my personal name is "Sen" now (taken from my middle name, Arryn Senna Diaz). Arryn Diaz is still my professional name, but the cool kids should refer to me as Sen. Thanks!

Here's a bit of concept sketches for Kim's outfit for this chapter. A number of folks were asking if it was based on something specific, and it is! It's inspired by Filibus (1915), a silent movie about a gender-bending sky pirate. And yes the movie is as great as it sounds, we've even got the "dress as a man to seduce her rival's daughter" angle, it's delightful.

On the topic of surprise gender in Dark Science
Just thought I'd share a little thing about the journey of the character of Asmodea/Lilith/Elith.
So as many know while I script the pages as I go, the overarching story of Dark Science was written way back in 2010, and while there are naturally tweaks that happened, I haven't ever really deviated from that. When I first put it together I had less of a story and more of a premise and location: a city that comically quantifies everything and a cast of characters who are all expressions...
