Summer adventures
I'm sorry to those of you in the northern hemisphere but it's nearly summer here in the New Zealand and I can't wait! (Though I'd love to have a proper snowy Christmas one day)

I wish I could skateboard! The closest I've gotten to skateboarding is when I had rollerblades as a child. Being the clumsy person that I am, I immediately fell over and broke my wrist and had a cast from my fingers right up to my elbow for WEEKS. It wasn't waterproof either so I had to have a plastic bag over it in the shower and my whole arm got really gross, smelly and itchy towards the end. I'm sorry I hope you weren't eating while reading this post.

I went back to my hometown this weekend to visit my parents! They live in Hamilton, which is about an hour and a half drive from Auckland. Mum asked me what I wanted for dinner and I chose dumplings. Even though you can buy them in Auckland, they're never as good as the ones she makes. I should really learn to make them myself but it's such a long and complicated process.
Anyway, here's a shot of the dumplings we made! My mum did most of the work but me and my sister helped fold them :D<...

I can honestly say that I've never ever been in a physical fight. I would probably just run away and cry if I ever had to fight someone. Or suggest some sort of duel. A drawing duel perhaps. Whoever draws Shoelace the best, wins!

First drawing since I got back from Japan. I feel a bit rusty after three weeks away but it's good to take a break sometimes and recharge.
