The custom we released yesterday came as a package deal with two photoshoots as per the customer's wishes.

It's quite unfortunate that we had to underinflate these. About a third of the collection popped during inflation. Let's just say it's very upsetting basically seeing the potentially banger video slip through your fingers in more ways than one. Had to be careful so as to have any toys to play with in the end.

UMUmperor with a net full of balloons

'Nero from Fate gets balloons blown in her PE uniform' seems to be a popular topic that comes up often in Skeb requests. To this day I am not sure if it's one person getting these or multiple people sharing their love for specifically Nero and balloon stuffing. Regardless, we used the art as inspiration, down to the net filled with balloons. It was difficult to find something that looked like the corner of a sports building or a school classroom so I settled for this wooden place... thing. Ra...

A bit overdue but that's because there were lots of photos to go through. Carnelian took all of these and wow, she might have a hidden talent here! I tried picking the best shots + some alright ones for variety. Should definitely call Carnelian in for help more often.

Swimsuit Tifa

This swimsuit is sooo good! When I found out Selenite had this cosplay ready and waiting I just couldn't pass up on the opportunity. Unfortunately it also had to be sent to its original owner shortly after I found out so I had very little time to come up with an idea and a way to shoot it. A pretty simple video in terms of the idea but I do think we executed it very nicely, lots of good shots and fun balloon play. Shoutouts to LoonerWiki for donating so many balloons over time that I could keep the colour palette of the clip nice and compact.

Hunter and Prey

This video was devised under some extreme time crunch because my initial plan was completely scrambled by circumstances outside my control and I rung up Celestine all 'what the hell do I do' so we brainstormed this and the yandere video together.

Just having big toys we're allowed to pop on standby is a huge help. People who sent these to us (you know who you are) - thank you very much!

Latex Psylocke

Yes, latex! And the quality of the cosplay is surprisingly good. The provenance of the outfit is a bit unclear as the style doesn't match any of the makers we're aware of. Huh!

A great example of a classic Studio FUUSEN compromise.

I wanted to try the Rode Wireless GOii to see if it's worth buying for our videos and while it's a very good system a technical issue with it cut our filming time dramatically. It was also my first time using a wireless system so I didn't hide the transmitter well enough. A lot of footage had to be cut including two large chunks involving 36'' balloons from CuteBalloonsSTU. Now. It's been a pretty good year I'd say, we've done a lot, the studio is going strong. My approach to running it is to make every video at least a little bit unique; with the cosplay theme that's really quite easy because there are always new characters and ways to play around with that but also, just in terms of balloon/inflatable play and video production my goal is variety variety variety.
