I survived three whole, painful meltdowns this week and still somehow have the persistence to try to make time for work every chance that I get. I may not have much, but I still have that fighting spirit at the end of it all. Partly because I desperately need art back in my day to day routine; partly because I’m broke as hell which means my family is broke as hell, and they need me to come through somehow. By some strange miracle, Elias is sleeping on his own for right now (I really hope I don’t jinx it he hasn’t slept by himself in four days sobs) so I managed to scribble out a couple of overdue commissoin sketches. I’ve been neglecting my WIP/Process posts LIKE ALWAYS but I really want to try to not lose old orders in the madness of my current situation so I’m starting small while I can. Phew.

It’s some sort of miracle that I was even able to do this today?? With the baby home and everything? Hopefully my LUCK 😏 is turning around finally??

Also, this is basically what I meant when I was talking about cutting corners with the new updates. Just flat colors here and there and occasionally no backgrounds just to save time. What do we think?

I need your input

It’s no news that my free time has dwindled to almost nothing ever since Elias was born (aka do I want to spent the 2-4hrs I have to myself a day sleeping or cleaning or showering or drawing??). Which doesn’t help, considering how much I’m DYING to get done everyday now. But commissions and rewards aside, I’m debating whether or not it would benefit me to trim some detail on the Lucky updates in order to get more pages done faster.
