What a surprise!

Holy shit Mike is doing another Redhood? Another member of the Bat family? Wow how original.

Dragon con is coming up and I have a bunch of friend doing batman characters. As much as I was trying to avoid another Bat-costume, I can never say no to group stuff. (That came out wrong)

I had to make another chest piece, shin guards and red hood/bat logo. Still a lot of fine details and weathering to get done, but not bad for 2 days while also packing my apartment so I can move.

Damn it Aunt May I'm busy!

Some times you need to take a break from saving the neighbourhood to check in with your aunt and let her know you're ok! Other time you need to text someone in the middle of the photo shoot and annoy Shaun!

Casey Jones Album

People always give me a hard time about this costume but i personally loved it; it mad me feel bad ass. It was based on concept art from the second ninja turtles movie and honestly I like it better than what the had Stephen Amell wearing. I'm not as handsome, but I was dressed better. (yes, even in Aeropostal)

Spider-Man Head Shot!

I love this shot because it's a prefect mix of Michael Hamm and Perter Parker. It's a perfect mix of being a cosplay shot and a head shot. I love Spider-Man so much and getting the chance to wear the costume and truly feel like Spider-Man in front of the camera was amazing! Thanks for making me look pretty shaun!

So yesterday I managed to get the patterns drawn up and cut out which for some reason too way longer than I was thinking. Meanwhile, kyle has already cast the first bayard (weapon) and I feel like I'm falling a bit behind. Thursday I my first full day off so I'm hoping to get a bunch done on the fabrication then. It's doesn't help that I'm also moving and have apartment viewings almost everyday! Bleep!

Voltron update!

I just got home today from a 28 day convention circuit and because of that I am really behind on patreon stuff, particularly love letters. If i want to get everything out on time, there is no way I will be able to write letters this month. Voltron Designs!

I need to have my Voltron armour done by September which means that I need to start planing it now so I can start the build as soon as I get home. That means designing it while I'm on the plane from SDCC to Edmonton! The LED may be a bit ambitious but we will see!

Cosplay and travels!

I'm on the last leg of this month long journey and I'm so overwhelmed. Have have been more or less non stop at conventions for 25 days and it's starting to catch up with me. I'll be taking august off from travels and buckling down on shoots nathan and Sebastian) cosplay (superboy, mystery, voltron) and obtaining new fitness goals! Updates to follow!

Last night I went to Stan Lee's SDCC party and while he was on stage I decided to take a selfie. Little did I know that someone was live streaming it and caught me taking the selfie. I am shame and embarrassment, but I love it so much

Pro tip!

Don't have a real costume, just wear a bunch of random stuff and when people just assume something, say yes. "Are you mad max?" "Ummm yes."

Of if you're really feeling creative, make up a character and see if people pretend like they know it. "I'm dressed as Sargent Lewis from the manga 'No child left alone', have you heard of it?

In reality I just look like a leather daddy.

Play Station Legends!

While I was in Atlanta as Nathan Drake I found a cosplayer dressed as tomb raider and we took some bad cell phone photos together by the pool. It would have been neat to do a real shoot but sadly there was no time. I really want to do a shoot with all play station characters soon. Nathan Drake, solid snake, Lara croft, crash... bandicoot??
