A Different Pink Couch!

After two months of seeing the beautiful Pink couch series, I’ve got a different pink couch for this series!

Fun fact! When Shaun and I shoot it’s usually a multiple hour shoot and requires a few breaks. What’s amazing about Shaun is that he can even make a break look like an amazing purposeful shot!

It’s fine becuase I can totally see dva having a Pokémon phone case!

The Cyclops Preshow!

I’m so excited to say that I FINALLY got the chance to shoot cyclops with Shaun. This costume was made over a year ago and I’ve been waiting for this for a long time. This is one of my favourite costumes so it’s safe to say I’m pretty excited!

New VIDEO!!! Michael Hamm does Stuff: Lets talk x-men!

A while ago I bought the most wonderful art book that was entirely based on X-men the animated series. This wasn't something I would normally buy but I was pretty much raised on X-men so i knew i needed to have it. In this video I'm just going to take you on a little walkthrough of some of my favourite pages and talk a little bit about what x-men means to me.

The STANDard.

When selecting which shots we will use for the final images I always pick one where I’m just standing there. Nothing exciting nothing fun, just something standard, stoic, and front facing. I don’t know why I always pick this. It might be just to show off as much of the costume as possible. Or maybe I’m just an incredibly boring person. Lucky for me even if I’m just standing there doing nothing Sean can still make the shot look amazing.

Mirror Mirror!

What’s a Thursday without a little throw back? I wanted to find something fun so I went digging around some old emails and I found this photo that is… something. I don’t think I it’s the first mirror selfie I took but it’s got to be in the running. I think this is from 2007/8 and I was really feeling my model fantasy!

Tuesday T-shirts!

Is that a thing? Is anything a thing anymore??? I swear these shirts will be the end of me. Hey ya getting close to the end but also, is it??? I’m swimming in shirt but I won’t lie, it’s incredibly heart warming and I’m wildly grateful, thankful, and filled with gratitude. The fact that I have these many shirt to take care of is a blessing, not a curse. Thank you to everyone who got a shirt and thank you to those who didn’t lol.

Zoom zoom baby! I refuse to believe it august but here we are!

I wanted to post this Northstar photo because one of his mutant abilities is being able to go really fast and I feel like that’s under appreciated!

Speed is such a hard power to capture in a still photo which is why we decided to take it in a more artistic style. I like to picture it as Northstar zooming by but then someone cute catches his eye and he skids to a stop.

The question is, who did he stop for?

Winner winner Console…dinner?

The people have spoken and the Console series was the chosen winner by quite a few votes! It’s a nice change of pace to bright and flashy retro stuff but has just enough old school vibes to fit in, and some fun colour that will help it pair with all the new D.va shots! Another Shaun Simpson knockout? YOU BET!

I don’t really know what the plan was when we were shooting these photos. We knew we had this little bedroom in the Airbnb, and we knew we had a red flannel blanket. To be completely honest I thought that the red would somewhat clash with the pink walls, but in reality it ended up looking so good because of the retro theme. This is definitely one of my favourite shots to come out of the bedroom.

Spooky throwback!

As you all know I love a good horror shoot. This photos is from my second ever shoot with Shaun Simpson. Since then I’ve done a few different horrors looks (vampire, zombie, Mummy, possessed, demon, etc) and I’m begging to look for a few more. I’d love to hear some suggestion on good Halloween/horror/spooky photo shoot options! Help!!

I’m posting a bit earlier than normal today because I’m getting my second vaccine today at 9am. I’m actually pretty excited about it and un like last time I’m not shaking with nervousness. Making that last vaccine video really helped me realize how much I was over reacting.
