Well, well, well, look who it is. We originally said the two baby side guys from the original XOD weren't gonna show in XOXO Blood Droplets, but the person who got a custom character through the Kickstarter ultimately decided to use their reward to give these two little cameo appearances instead!
You won't be able to romance them, but it'll still be nice to say hi to the sweet boys.

The brand new, extra fancy character creation screen actually works now :D! It'll be available to play around with in the next beta build. And it'll also be in the updated public demo we're working on.
Also, if anyone is confused by it, Page 3 is used to choose MC details that don't appear on the doll itself, just stuff that get mentioned in the script.

We've got another poll today to help determine one of adult Cove's clothing layers! We want one of the options to simply be a nice t-shirt without buttons or anything. There are two possible options for this and only can make it into the game.

And today we have a mockup for the Cove creator screen! At least, the physical appearance side of the Cove Creator. We're still working on the personality part of the Cove Creator. Still, it's pretty nifty. The two options on the left are applicable to every outfit Cove has, the options on the right are unique to the specific outfit at hand.
Page one is his casual outfit, page two is his pajamas, and page three is choosing his jacket. The formal outfit, swimsuit, and wet suit in Step 2 ...

Hey! I've got another quick poll today. What do you think of the current logo? It was one of the earliest graphics done and is a bit different from the rest of the game. Should we keep it or revamp it with something more like the rest of the GUI?
If it was changed we could add things like white poppy flowers or other details that are more specific than the beach theme of the current logo.

Hey, I'm thinking about potentially adding a new type of image to Our Life- partial CGs. Similar to the cut-in style CGs, these images wouldn't be sprites but wouldn't be full CG images that takes up the entire screen either. They may or may not even have a background, it could just have a border and a fuzzy section like the above example.
What do you guys think? Would it be distracting to have the game switch between sprites and things like this? Or does it just look out of place? Or...

The beachy, tropical restaurant background is finished! The teens like to hang out there in Steps 2 and 3, and you/Cove can potentially get a job there as a young adult. It's got a very nice atmosphere, unfortunately the customers can be difficult to deal with.
