And here's the first full promo image for OL2! I hope you all like it. All the details are on their own layer and in the future we'll be able to combine these parts with the promo image pieces from the other steps, such as making images with just one LI at all their different ages or making a piece that features the youngest version of the LIs compared to their oldest versions. There's no sound and the recording quality is not great, but this is it- the very first look at Our Life: N&F in action. It's so beautiful (in my opinion). OL2 uses speech bubbles with emotions and tool tabs on the sides of the screen, rather than the OL1 method of having a set textbox with buttons.

Today we have a fun look into the very cute promo piece we're making for Step 1! So precious.
It's a little hard to make promos for a game like this, with two main leads and multiple time periods to show off, haha. Ultimately, I decided to have fully separate images for each Step, but with the each character and the BG all on their own layers. Hooray! We finally have a real logo for our next major project and it's stunning ❤.
The original OL had an inciting incident with the infamous twenty dollar bill from Cliff. We promised there was also a "thing" for this game and you can probably guess what it is now, haha.

She loves to spoil her grandchild, as well as dote on the other children in the neighborhood. They're all precious little ones. If you're on Itch you'll need to redownload/install the base game and Step 3 DLC, or use the Itch app to update things if you have that. For Steam you can just let the update happen.

It's a very nice scene and you can expect to see this spot a lot. It's the walking path near your neighborhood that leads deeper into the mountain/forest ❤

Today we're sharing one of Qiu's precious alternate outfits; his ballet practice uniform. You can really see his jagged hairline with this up-do, haha. But ballet is something Qiu enjoys throughout the entire game, which I think is quite cool. We need more VN love interests in the world who do ballet.
With a fall setting there's gotta be that lovely rainy feel some days, and that means cute umbrellas will come out! Tamarack has a particularly adorable one, I think. It's an extendable umbrella that, when folded, fits into her messenger bag, so she's pretty much never caught without it.
As a quick side note, Qiu doesn't have a Step 1 Umbrella version. He's a bold young man who just puts his hood up in wet weather, haha.

It's done! We've created a build of Our Life that has the full Step 3 DLC. I can't believe it's actually all there. And now we've got a beta for it.
Your main game saves will still be fine in the main game but they won't work in the beta! In order to play the beta you'll need to treat it like a separate game from the normal Our Life.

Because the two are biologically related, she's also customizable in order to match what the player creates for their own character.
