Our Life: Cake Planning Screenshots (Wedding DLC)

Cove will offer different cake flavor suggestions based on the overall idea the MC is hoping for. I think he's got some pretty nice ideas! 

You can go with his suggestion, tweak it, plan something else entirely, or if you have multiple tiers you can have him pick one and you pick another, etc. There's plenty of ways to make a perfect cake with your lovely husband-to-be and he'll be happy either way. Cove's definitely not a picky eater anymore and he's just glad to be there 💞

Another beautiful sprite is done! This time it's the Step 2 version of the MC's mommy, Opal 💖. She still has her different skin tone and hair texture options.

It originally said this was her Step 1 self but it was meant to be Step 2. I guess today just ended up being mom day, haha.

Summer is over and fall has arrived (where I live, anyway). And with that change of season came the release of Our Life: Beginnings & Always Step 4. It's finally out. Unbelievable. That already kind of sums things up, but let's get into the monthly report.

Our Life Now & Forever: Tamarack Theme Sample

Like Cove in Our Life: Beginnings & Always, Tamarack and Qiu will both get character theme music tracks. And like the other music track from Our Life: Now & Forever, Tamarack's theme is multi-layered and will sound differently depending on the context of the scene. You can hear a little sample of the fully layered version here. It's so lovely 💞

Our Life 1.4.1 Patch!

We’ve released a bug fix patch for Step 4 of Our Life! These are the patch notes:

· The errors on the character/Cove creation screens are gone

· The game skipping to the wrong Step is resolved

· Part of the ending CG not being able to appear for some MCs was fixed

· Some typo/continuity errors in the script were updated

· A few wrongly set flags were switched

· And other miscellaneous small tweaks

Older save files might not work in this update...

Our Life: Now & Forever - Town Name!

Our Life: Beginnings & Always had the tiny, shorefront, tourist trap of Sunset Bird in California. Our Life: Now & Forever will have you growing up in the aging, tight-knit, mountain nestled town of Golden Grove in Oregon!

The world of OL2 is really becoming clear in my mind. I think it's pretty neat.

Our Life: Beginnings & Always Step 4 launches in two days!! Amazing. It’s a free update that continues the story past the ending credits. It adds about 80,000 more words to the script.

Step 4 is an epilogue that isn’t separated into different Moments, it’s one long series of scenes. But you’ll still be able to get into a relationship, tell him about the deal, and all those major things. There’s also gonna be a 15% off sale on all the available DLCs/Soundtr...

Our Life: Beta Build 0.95 (Step 4! PC, Mac, & Android)

We're putting out one more beta build before the full release and here it is! This version has errors fixed from the prior build, the final CG, and some other small additions. There's still a few little things we're working on, but this version should be practically release-quality. I hope you'll enjoy!

We're finally getting the last of the ceremony and reception options for the wedding DLC wrapped up! There's so many of these backgrounds, haha. But it should be a lot of fun to choose between different locations with Cove.

Our Life Now & Forever: Music Track Sample

We now have music! This is a sample of the first track for the next Our Life game, what we're calling the "Home" theme. It's super lovely. 

Also, really excitingly, our composer enjoyed how flexible things were in the OL games and wanted to work that into the soundtrack too. So he kept all seven layers of instrumentals for this song on different tracks in order to give us the freedom of including/removing notes as desired. This is the complete, most upbeat version of the Home theme...

STEP 4 IS HERE 🎉!!

We've finally got the first full beta build of Step 4. It's not 100% perfect, but it is pretty close to release-ready. It was a long wait to get here and I really appreciate all the patience. 

Errors reported from the 0.93 build have been fixed. You can download the 0.94 version from the links below now!

Save files from the end of Step 3 will work with Step 4, but save files from the end of the prior Step 4 beta won't work<...
