Just ordered this new release by B&O, thanks to my friend for putting my attention to it, as I didn’t even notice this.
Seems to be some Soundlink Revolve competitor or rather UE Boom as the Explore also has 2 drivers.

I didn't forget about the give away for April, I was just too busy to prepare everything because I had planned to finally measure all Q30 units that I own as there seems to be some sample variation.

Before comparing the LS50 Wireless II against the nuPro X-4000 which will be the actual video I was asked for by KEF, I first wanted to hear how the Nubert would sound against my Audio Pro A36.
I didn't have the chance to listen to both LS50 Wireless II and nuPro X-4000 side by side yet but I am afraid the outcome will be not that flattering for KEF. To weaken the anticipation for the Q35 I would like to give you some of my first impressions and immediately post some measurements.
To cut the story short: save yourself from getting it if you already have a Q30 or simply get a Q30 instead. I am not sure what the big improvement should be here for twice the price of the Q30, because sound wise it is a step backwards.

I shot a final video about the Drop Panda as I was enjoying it a lot lately with my latest EQ tweaks which I had already posted before.
I think with my EQ it sounds more enjoyable than a Sennheiser HD660S which is also included in this video, although I still think that the Q30 with decent equalizing beats the super duper THX AAA voodoo magic.

I was again suprised how bad a headphone can sound despite all the great ratings.
Thanks to the user-EQ it can be rescued though, but still won't sound as decent as the properly equalized Q30.

Compared to my initial measusments of the Panda I already did before, these here seem to be more valid. I think last time I applied my compensation twice by accident which resulted in doubling the effect and stretching the response.
Here you can also find both my EQs "flat" and "fun" which you will need to reproduce filter by filter as there is no way to share one's settings between different users.

I fine tuned the EQ for the Panda a bit more in the meantime and will post my settings in a separate post together with some measurements.
With the EQ adjustment it finally sounds like a $400 headphone more or less, although the hardware seems pretty bad as my unit has some strong imbalance, it disconnects from Bluetooth repeatedly etc. Definitely not a headphone I would recommend, although after EQ adjustment I really ejoyed it a lot.

I am currently working on an EQ for the DROP Panda which got an update recently to work with Sonarworks’ SoundID app. The EQ is uploaded to the headphone and saved permanently it seems. Unfortunately their own profile for the Panda is quite bad but there is a hidden fully parametric EQ with up to 10 filters included and I am currently tweaking it to make something usable out of this headphone.

I did some first measurements of the Emyprean measured with my own ears (in white my HD600 as reference).
I am going to meet up with Oratory1990 next week and let this unit measure with his GRAS system. Not sure if I got a dud or if my ears are to blame, but the peak at 5khz and the excessive treble boost don't look normal to me.

I would like to know if these EQs work for you, or if you find them too thin or somehow nasal sounding like some had claimed. I think it depends a lot on the on-ear design, which doesn't give a good coupling with all ear shapes.

I am quite surprised how realistic the sound is captured, but you have to listen over the HD600 with Sonarworks or my EQ (attached). Of course some information is lost, it sounds as if you were listening to a lower resolution of the original sound, but the frequency response is represented really well.
