We just finished editing pictures from yesterday's photoshoot with Yunli! Hope you like her!

This project took very long time because of all the preparations and complexity but also because Barb was away for a week. The video is almost ready too, we just wait for the approval form Honkai: Star Rail team. Hopefully it will go live tomorrow!

Yunli Progress

While I'm in Brazil working on some of my PhD stuff again, Alex very kindly is continuing work on Yunli!

We are starting to get a bit anxious, as we didn't get any feedback on the doll yet, but personally we think she's supper cool 😍 that is in a big part because of the design being so cool and detailed in the first place. We love working with video game characters for that reason!

London Film and Comic Con!

As you may know we flew to London to meet up with some of our friends at the London Film and Comic Con.

🇯🇵 Finally, Mirai Store Tokyo

I was finally able to take a trip to Tokyo and visit the Smart Doll store! We spend over 2 hours there taking a trip through the whole facility including some super secret stuff!

I was able to take some shots of the girls downstairs, which I'm incliding here, and brought back a few things: black navy without cyber lines, which I was really hoping for, and since it was a request I was able to get it with a blank head! Alex already has some mlp-plans for her.

New doll is finished ✨️

I struggled with a few parts of this doll, like the eyes and hair, but she's here! Penelope Featherington from the Bridgerton series! Barb made the dress and the shoes before she went to Japan, and I finished everything else in the last one and a half weeks.

I had an attempt with making a wig from scratch because Barb said the Smart Doll wig is too pricy and precious 😂 but I didn't like my version so in the finished design you can see a modified CJ wig.

Heya, Alex here. I came back from my travels to the USA and the Arabic countries, and I'm working in our little studio on a new doll.

We shared with you a couple of times on livestreams, and also here, that we're making Penelope Featherington from the Bridgerton series! Barb made the dress (or two) a long time ago before she left to Japan, and now I'm adding the rest.

I have to admit I'm not well versed in the doll-o-sphere when it comes to vinyl bjds other than Smart Doll (let alone respond bjds lol) so I didn't even realize that Mandarake:

For my second Hanami shoot attempt I wanted to take Haru to w shinto shrine. There are so many of them in the nearby areas so when I found one on the map (actually, when bf sent me a pin and told be to go instead of introverting in mu room) I was like: fck it, nobody knows me and I don't care what they think so I will just do it.

My internship is at a university in Toyohashi (actually in quite rural Toyohashi...) but during the weekend I am able to stay in Nagoya with my boyfriend, which is a bigger city. There are two doll stores that I was able to find nearby to our stay: Azone and Volks (Dollfie).

Just kidding.
I had to pack our dolls away because of a renovation that is going on in our house while we are away. There will be a lot of dust so the customs were moved to the studio for the time being. When I come back maybe I should to some maintenance on them, hopefully nothing broke because of this tight packing 😅

I know I promised to upload it day-of our livestream but better late than never. I am leaving for Japan today and Haruka is going with me - hence she needed a passport.

I added 4 different color cover options and some pages with stamps (courtesy of Vecteezy) , but feel free to make up your own pages for the inside!

The pdf is sized in between A4 and Letter, so just make sure to size it at 100% when printing. I'm also adding an svg if you have a cricut to cut it out for you.
