The Suitcase

I'm joined on this very special "first time with decent audio quality" podcast by the warm Gavin Spence and cold Richie Morgan. Featuring a whole new segment, and a brand new game! Doctor Victor takes a minute out of his busy schedule to share his thoughts on Start cereal.

I usually try to keep these shorter, but I really loved this episode, so cuts were harder to make than usual. Please enjoy!

The Infinite Review / 8 / Start Cereal

I knew when I launched this Patreon that if people were kind enough to back me, I would want them to be able to see that the money is going into what I make for them. Thanks to you all, I was able to afford a better camera. (Filming everything on my old phone really wasn't cutting it.) I am really glad I make videos a little better now, for myself, and for you.

Also, I got some better recording equipment for podcasting. (Only took 7 years.) I know you will all miss having the constant hum of a...

The Ironydome

Richie Morgan returns in this very special episode! What musical instrument haunted Richie in his dreams? How did Richie cope with the shame of NGAGE ownership? What big questions will Richie put to Owen once he's the one in the hot seat? And Doctor Victor returns to tell us what he thinks of (previous employer) IKEA, and shares his tips and tricks for an enjoyable visit.

The Infinite Review / 7 / IKEA

A fun thing about doing The Infinite Review is plucking a subject for a video out of the air and then researching it and building up what the video will be along the way. A less fun thing is having to film in a place where you are constantly hoping not to be asked "What the hell are you doing?" while filming. Making this video ticked both those boxes.

I want to give out a big thank you to all my backers as always, but make it an extra big one this month as I've now started putting money into (...

A weary traveler bearing gifts returns! Lots to unpack here: mostly sea-based treats. We dispel a lot of myths about China and replace them with worrying facts, Dr. Victor gives us his thoughts on Dingle, and Sean (not that one, another one) risks the fate of reality in order to turn a story of his where nothing happened into a story where something happened.

The Infinite Review / 6 / Dingle

Hello again! I can't tell you how glad I am to be able to do a video once a month rather than 3 a year. And it's all thanks to you folks, so thank you again. This month I get to stray further from home, which I'd love to do more of in the future. Everywhere needs to be reviewed eventually!

I genuinely would highly recommend visiting Slea Head. The footage here doesn't do it justice, but it is truly beautiful.

All $3+ backers will get their hands and ears on the accompanying podcast short...

Owen and Eoin's Bogus Journey

In this very special episode, me and my guest Eoin journey through time with a really well built time machine and discuss reality. Doctor Victor returns and things get more romantic than anyone ever could have anticipated thanks to James Joyce.

The Infinite Review / 5 / E3 2018

As I said on twitter, this video started out very simple - I only planned to make it 6 or 7 minutes, but as you can see it grew quite a bit. It ended up being a lot more work than I thought, but that made me all the more thankful to have you lot, the patrons. Before, it would be easy to let the workload overwhelm me and take the pleasure out of it, but all through this video I felt enthused because of the support I receive here. Thank you all so much.

As always, a new accompanying podcast will...

A Whole Grilled Chicken

Eurovision fever grips the podcast in this very musical episode which feature two massive announcements, a slew of special guests, and several time anomalies. (Sorry about those, they should be ironed out by the next episode.) Enjoy!

The Infinite Review / 4 / The Demon Core

I learned a lot while putting this video together, and a lot of what I learned wasn't very nice. This one was really interesting to do, so I hope you all enjoy it and would like to see more like it. I must recommend "The House in the Middle" which is on youtube, and is an amazing look into the insanity of the atomic age.

I must thank you all again for your support. You're all incredible and the whole time I'm writing, recording and editing these videos, I feel grateful to have you making it po...

Haunted Podcast

The delightful but damned Gavin Spence (of Geshcast fame) was in Dublin for a big important conference, but still found the time to join me on the podcast. Quickfire reviews return, and we bring the milkybar milk slice trilogy to a close. There's also a brief brush with the supernatural and Gavin (as usual) insists on talking about Transformers.

The Infinite Review / 3 / All the Star Trek Movies

The first villain of the Infinite Review universe makes their debut. (Update those wikis, folks.)

This one ended up delayed when my mouse broke (it's still broken) and constantly double-clicks. Editing with an uncooperative mouse is tough, and it really made it feel like the JVC-km 3000 was in control. (I also spilled curry on my script.) Through the trials and tribulations I felt encouraged to continue knowing there were people on patreon who were giving me their support, which gave me that e...

I didn't realise when I started this project just how dangerous it would be. As you'll see in the video, I'm lucky to be alive at all. I won't quit, though. My mission is too important. Thank you all for your continued support! The accompanying podcast will be made available to $3+ backers in the next few minutes, too! Please enjoy.

I'm so sorry. As you will hear in the intro, I made a mess of the recording setup. It's listenable now thanks to lovely Barry, sound magician, and I will definitely not make that same mistake again. I hate messing up the very first time I've ever put out paid content, but that's how it goes. Consider this episode the rocky pilot before the show really takes off.

Joining me for these baby steps is PaperbagAnimator (Sean from the video) who helps me mold the podcast format. I also do some infini...

The Infinite Review / 1 / 45 Toilet Rolls

Infinity has to start somewhere, right?

Thank you all for your support, I couldn't do it without you! I hope you enjoy this first video / origin story. I will also be sending out a link to the first podcast in a few minutes. This is my first time posting content on Patreon and I'm quite nervous about messing up somehow. So if anything is amiss, please let me know and I'll try my best to sort it. Again, thank you all, and please enjoy!

Oh my goodness

About 24 hours ago I launched this Patreon, and even after a night of sleep I still haven't completely processed the amazing response it has had. I've had people trying to convince me to start a Patreon for years but I always waved it off, thinking "nobody would ACTUALLY pledge, pffth" and here we are. I'm happy to have been proven wrong, but more than that, I'm grateful.

Every time I try something new, I feel "THIS is thing that's going to make them realise I'm not worth their time" but every...
