he has trust issues and a bunch of psychological barriers, he needs to slowly work through to finally regain some sort of Vulnerability and control over his life. He is able to seek comfort and empathy with Jonathan Who he simultaneously understands and is understood by. Doesn’t mean hes all good and all, he’s certainly has a long way to go in terms of familial relations and establishing as trusting friend and/or support group.
