Nufkin - Root Wizard

I've been working on a group of minis for this month and being the same trooper in different positions has been a bit tedious. But hey the minis look great and will be posted up later once they have been test printed.

So I felt I needed to shake off the cobwebs with a crazy sculpt. So here he is a wizard of sorts. I have always liked the idea that magic can warp you and that wizards could end up looked mutated after being too close to magic ....and of course magical accidents.

I’m working on more poses for the Traitor Guard for this month and can’t decide whether to include bayonets?

Mud Walker

I originally made this sculpt way back in 2019 and have been meaning to load him up for folks for a while. The painted mini is basically the same as the file. I've added a few details to the baskets and that's about it. Oh and made his troos a bit baggy around his arse.

I used metal spears for the legs or it may have been toothpicks....either will work. Strapped on with dental floss bindings and much swearing. Then added texture to them with Stirland mud. He'll need a bit of hobby fettl...

Gregor the Goat

Well the Goat Knight needed a goat. Gregor may also see action as a regimental mascot.

Loads of heads

Part of the fun of 3d printing is kitbashing bits.....so here's a load of heads for your delectation. 

I've scaled them around a 28mm average but you may need to play around to find the best fit depending on what plastic kits you are using or style you like.

Flamer

I made this guy a couple of years ago as a proxy for some Chaos Thugs. With a few tweaks he's back on the scene. 

I will also be releasing his head individually for some kitbash fun.

Ideas?

Amongst the many, many many things I will be uploading this month there's this fella I did back in July'19.....so long ago. I will be rebooting this old sculpt of mine but never really decided what he would have in his baskets.....any ideas folks?

Goat Knight or The Elderbarian Leader Files

I started intending to sculpt a goat as a knight which I may still do. The expression on the model worked well, exuding arrogance and this character kind of emerged. 

I decided finally to go with a sword instead of a banner because I want to use him as a mercenary captain. I may also use the pose with something more Nap-Apoc.

Sorry if I seem a touch quiet but I am working on stuff for this month. I'm doing my typical thing where there's a few things just about finished, so they will all pretty much appear at once.

Once again thank you folks out there so much for believing in and liking what I do..... to the point where you are willing to part with some money.

Oh and the heads above plus a few more will be coming out this month.

Traitor Trooper Files

Well, here he is with a few bits rescaled. I'm quite chuffed with him. There will be more of his ilk.

If you don't follow me on social media then here is a quick glimpse of something I am working on. Yes there will be more of this chap and some friends to populate the wargame world he will be in.

Proportions will change, bigger shoulder pads, pipes and some traditional chaos symbols maybe, then I will upload this file this month.

Jar Carrier Files

Here are the files for the Jar Carrier. I have a few more old and new minis in this style coming. As I will be exploring a few dark corners metaphorically and literally.

He is a bit of a short fella and could do with an increase in scale by a notch or two if you are using him with chonky minis.

Jar Carrier revisted

I'm revisiting old works which I once saw as a chore but to my surprise it has been quite fun. I have new tools and new skills now so its alot easier to get what I want out of a sculpt.

I sculpted this guy quite a while ago without the pot helm and amphorae on his back. I did a bit of a kit bash with some bits and liked the way it looked that I always intended to do him as a full sculpt......so here he is.

Its about time I got on with the rest of slow project of the fantasy/sci-fi...

10mm Troll files

Here's the line of three trolls scaled for 10mm and on a strip. If folks wanted them singly what kind of thing would be best? On a base/without etc?

I call them trolls but some may see them as ogres. Use them as you will. They are about 40mm tall.

Well I’m quite pleased on how these Trolls came out. They are for 10mm at the moment and will be scaled up with more detailing for 28mm wargaming as well.

Discord?

I’ve been wondering lately if we should have a Discord bit. Other Patreons have them and it’s something that comes bundled up in the whole Patreon thing.

From my side it’d be nice to see what you all do with my models. Maybe a bit of feedback about what you’d like to see. Ideas and talk about the games you play with them. Hey even painting miniatures. Maybe a bit about print services for those of you that don’t have printers…..and other stuff.

Firing Tater Trooper Files

Here are the files. Folks have been asking so here they are. That doesn't mean you can ask and get! ;)

I was going to save them half for this month and then half next month .....or even all for next month. But they are done so here they are.

I'm not sure about the rifle slings. I ended up cutting a couple off. It may of been an accident. So they are included on there if you want them. Snip them off if you don't.

Oh and please, please please do tag me in pix when you print an...

Firing Tatter Troopers

I like the idea of units of troops sadly walking towards each other to be mown down by the enemy, but that means I need some troops firing. So here's a few in firing positions. 

I will do other head variations another time. Or headless ones if that works.

As a kid I used to love going around model villages and had a fascination for those Lilliput Lane models. I was never allowed to have them or maybe I never asked. 

Anyway now I can make them. A necromancer retired from his tower now lives in this one.
