10mm Fortress Tower

Here are all the bits for the tower kit. Make a card base with the dimensions in the piccy above, then cover it with das clay.......polyfilla may also work or experiment?

Print the files and have fun. I will post some in progress pix of the tower I made when I get a chance.

10mm

I haven’t forgotten the whole world of 10mm. I tend to work on a few projects at once so there’s a few things each month. I will try and be more organised with previews and suchlike.

I’m just finishing of bits and instructions for the Fortress Tower kit then looking to do some more orc based units.

I love the spear orcs but was wondering what unit to do next? Or maybe a siege tower.....or a trebuchet? Or some other unit?

Any thoughts folks?

Beul Trooper STLs

As I said I could of held back and uploaded them all together but hey the idea of this Patreon is kind of patrons having access to what I make as I stumble along sculpting random stuff that may one day come together in a game.

So here's the first two 'Beul Troopers'. I will do some variants with different heads as well but I'm loving these as a start. 

It'' be great to see some printed and painted so remember to tag Knucklebones Minis on social media!

Well I've made two and will be making another one with some variants on the other two, so that I can make a marching unit. But instead of waiting I will upload these two for patrons to play with.

Orc STLs

Well here is two this month. Scaled for 28mm but hey they are orcs so that not an exact science and you could even print them a bit bigger for 32mm.

Turnip Trooper Preview

Just a quick preview for some more content for next month. I made my first Turnip28 troops out of bits of Perry and Warlord kits with the basic helms printed on the printer. But some folks have expressed and interest in having totally printable minis and after a bit of thought and a quick sketch out I think I will do a few. Its a great chance to add a bit more 'baggy/floppy' character to them.

So expect a couple of Turnip28 minis next month.

Sneak preview of Aprils content

A sneak peek of some WIP content for next month . I’ve been playing around with some sweeping forms in VR sculpting. It’s great for these tribal dust walkers. 

This is just one part of many. Don't worry there will be all sorts of stuff coming in April.

What am I working on?

Well here’s one thing. There will be several more in other scales and genres.

An Ian Miller inspired tower for my Minihammer project.

10mm scaled though I have heard rumours of Patrons with bigger printers scaling up the 10mm building I have already uploaded.

The tower here has resin printed parts in a kind of kit form so that it’s can comfortably print on the small build plate of my printer.

The main body of the tower is card, you could use plasticard but I tho...

Tiers before bedtime.

After much thought, I have decided to increase the number of Sneaky Goblin Tiers available. So going forward that's $5 per month for everything. I'm not a greedy soul and more folks downloading and enjoying my stuff sits better with me.

I admit I have a problem that I flit between so many different genres that I don't seem to settle on one to sculpt a proper range. It has its advantages that there is a broad range of different genres of mini that you will have access to. 

Or is it a disadvantage? Would you all prefer me to concentrate on one theme? If I could find the self discipline?

One of those sculpts that worked first time with very little fiddling (excuse the pun). I still intend to sculpt a companion for him......whether its a four legged friend or a portly knight.

Orc spearmen STLs

Here ya go. These are as I printed them straight off. They are my first 10mm troops on 4cm wide strips. If you folks want them any other way or have tips on what would be good please do comment or contact me. I am very much open to suggestions.

Plus I suppose they can't be called Spearmen? Spearorcs? 

EDIT: looks like I hit the file limit so have zipped the files. Hope everyone is ok with that. I will aim to keep files smaller in future.

Just getting the stls ready for these chaps. I am going to be doing some more 10mm troops in the future. I am thinking of more orcs and also maybe some Chaos Beastmen......oh and chaos warriors.......and a siege tower. 

Anyway Orcs loading up later.

Oh and will have a go at scaling the spears for 28mm.

Beuls stl

Here's Beuls file without supports at the moment........I will update here tonight with the supported files once I have finished a test print. All being well that'll be tonight. Just wanted to get the ball rolling.

Update: slight delay whist I double check the supported file......bloody 3D printers!

Beul

Beul will be uploaded shortly for Patrons. One of my most popular minis. There's a certain something in there which I will be exploring more in the coming months.

Good for games like Morkborg, Turnip28 or Mordheim.

I am working on my own Grimdark world which is slowly taking shape......but more of that later.

Womble Trooper files

Well I managed to find them in my awful filing system faster than I thought. So here they are. Three different strolling Troopers and one Heavy Trooper. The heads are separate and will need a bit of traditional modelling skills to shave down the necks on the heads to make a nice fit.

Why Womble Troopers? Well sometimes they remind me of them......I really should think of proper names.

The Grimdark House v1.0

Here is the STL download  my second 10mm house based on old 80s fantasy. They'll be more of these in future. Probably divided into floors.

What's coming this month?

 ..........Well there's the Boghead and the Skullbox, then later the Cossack with the Blunderbuss. Also there will be the 10mm multi story house. So quite a bit in the first month to welcome folks.
