Coming next week.... Kitty Malone!

Uhh boy.  I felt really lucky to get the chance to drive into the desert on a perfect day with this fine human being... Or IS she human??  With those crazy long lines, perfectly shorn hair, and intense gaze, set into the Martian-esque landscape of the Mojave Desert, Kitty often looked like an alien who had just landed and was morphing into human form in order to hide amongst us!

Distraction

I was out at my favorite tide pools to shoot some fashion/ lookbook kind of stuff for some friends' clothing line last weekend.  The shoot had come about talking to a stylist/ make up artist I had met at my wife's art opening earlier in the month. She suggested shooting a friend of her who is looking to get into modeling, so we arranged to spend spend a day at the pool and hit the tide pools at sunset.
