Final Update Post for Chapter 3

Hello gamers! As the title indicates, this will be the final progress report/update for Chapter 3. I have just completed the renders for scene 10 of 14 (again, there are actually 20 total scenes in this update, due to split routing!), which means I only have 4 left to do. In addition, while rendering last night and tonight, I finished about 40% of the code. That is always the easiest part for me.

Chapter 3 update!

Kaylee and Hannah are here to help me with this. Hope you guys don't mind. I'm actually moving through Chapter 3 quite a bit faster than I did with Chapter 2. It's really cool. As of now, writing is 60% done, but more importantly, as you can see above, I've started rendering! Someone tried to copyright claim the game!

No, really. Some company filed a takedown notice with Mega, claiming that Between Two Worlds belonged to them. I reached out to them to find out what they were thinking, and they responded that they thought my game, was actually an Australian TV show that failed after a single season.

Have no fear, after threatening them with an army of lawyers (I pointed out that they were wrong, and needed to rescind their notice), they apologized and told Mega to stop blocking downloads.

Beta has arrived (or is coming, depending on tier!)

Hello everyone! I am happy to announce that the beta release has finished, and has undergone initial testing. Alorine and Hannah tier has already received it, and it was very well received. Here is the release schedule from here on:

Skylar Tier will get access on Thursday the 23rd.
Player Tier will get access on Sunday the 26th.
Curious tier will get access overnight of Tuesday the 28th.

Public release will happen at some point on the 30th or the 1st. Not sure yet, really ...

It's almost here!

Quick and big update news! Chapter 2 is now 100% written, 100% designed, and mostly rendered. I've also done a good chunk of the coding, and begun the process of play testing. I am looking to get the initial beta release out to the higher tier patrons in the next few days, with the others following as appropriate. This has been an incredible journey!

Look at that....grass!

It looks so good, right?? The renders for this scene are coming out so good. Can't wait til I can get Chapter 2 out to everyone. With this chapter, the "introduction" phase will be over, and the heart of the content will truly begin. Both in terms of the story, as well as the content that everyone is REALLY here for.

Successful Launch!

So, wow. Its now about 24 hours since I put my files online for the world to place judgement on. 24 hours of nail biting anxiety. So much time and money invested, not knowing how it would be received. But damn, did it go well.

Things are moving!

It's really weird, making this post knowing that absolutely no one even knows that this page even exists yet. But post I will, for posterity if nothing else. Although I had originally planned for a June 1st release, this was moved after a full system rebuild. Figured I should invest a little more money into my capabilities prior to doing the release.
