I was mostly busy this past week working on some portfolio pieces and storyboard work, but I found some old Mags art that I decided to clean up a bit. 

As usual, I always say that I miss drawing this girl, so I should probably also spend some time making more story tidbits here and there along with Roaring Spirits stuff. Giving her big ol weapons is just pretty fun too!

Comic # 3 is out! Thankfully, when Jackie's alarm doesn't work, Kiera serves as a good back up! You gotta be careful around Jackie when she's sleeping though! You might be subjected to the infamous Dragon Punch on Wake-Up. Oh and don't worry, Kiera's face is pretty squishy and can take the hit.

Old Mags Rough Animation Stuff (2021-2022)

Roaring Spirits - Jackie’s Anger

To no surprise, Jackie can be a bit of a hot-headed girl, in that her anger is often represented in the intensity of her flames! Simply put, the stronger her emotions, the stronger her spirit essence can be seen externally! Ash-kini + Sketch

I woke up this morning and found out it was National Bikini Day or something... so I quickly drew out some Ash lol. 

This is based on a summer outfit I made for her last year -- so this felt like a good enough excuse to draw some cheetah abs-- I mean, a cool swimsuit for Ash~

Also I made this fairly quick! Maybe around an hour or so -- hoping to get better at doing my sketches into final like that!

Summer Bethany Illustration + WIP Sketches

Its starting to get hot again, which means -- beach time. This started off as a doodle but it got out of hand... again... I think the last time I drew Bethany was sometime in 2021. Roaring Spirits Mini-Comic #1 - Fite Milk

Bam! Mini-comic #1 is up! This one features Jackie and the secret elixir to her uncanny strength. Milk is a cat's best friend after all, and it builds strong bones!

The Roaring Spirits mini-comics will be relatively non-canon, random shenanigan comics featuring the Roaring Spirits character cast.

 This will be a thing I do for fun and has no effect on the main story that I'm planning, but to flesh out the characters more and make jokes that may not fit in the  comic run....

This one is a lot more simple (heck, i might just finish this one a lot sooner tbh haha), but its also gonna sort of be a bit of a "motion comic" with the last panel. :D

Personally, I'm more of an Assault fan when it comes to the GameCube Starfoxes games, but I do like her Adventure look a lot. Gave her an Assault weapon instead.

Roaring Spirits - Jackie (Turnaround Sheet)

Jackie's completed turn around sheet! This is something that I'm going to be using frequently, whether it is for comic creation or for animations, to keep her model rather consistent!

I think for now, I won't be creating turnaround sheets for every single character who will appear in the comic (this stuff takes a while!), but creating this is also going to help with any height chart/character line ups I'll want to do later on!

If I'm going to be making a webcomic about her, it makes sense that I give myself a guide on how to draw her from most angles.

I'm also thinking once this is completed, I could do short tutorial tips on how I go about making one! Some artists loathe these, but this is a frequent assignment you get when doing character design professionally...
